Description

Foldable motorcycle helmet stand OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this descriptive document states, is a foldable motorcycle helmet holder. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current technology. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of diverse industrial techniques and transport, in the subclass of land vehicles that move in a way other than on rails, especially in carrying devices specially adapted to attach specific devices on cycles, for example supports for holding maps, as well as in frame parts profiled to receive other parts or accessories of the cycle. Similarly, it falls under the section of saddles or seats for cycles, auxiliary devices or accessories specially adapted to cycles not provided for elsewhere. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from the need to provide a practical and efficient solution for holding the motorcycle helmet during short stops, such as when the user needs to refuel or make a brief stop. Nowadays, motorcyclists often leave their helmets on the ground, on the seat, or in inappropriate places, which can cause falls or damage to the helmet, as well as not guaranteeing its stability. In everyday use, the helmet racks available on the market are often bulky, expensive, or difficult to install, which is a significant limitation for motorcyclists looking for a quick and easy solution to securely and easily store their helmet during short stops. Existing racks often fail to meet requirements for ease of use, portability, or compatibility with different motorcycle models. Accordingly, this invention presents a foldable motorcycle helmet holder that efficiently and compactly adapts to the motorcycle structure, allowing for quick and convenient installation. Currently, there is no known existence of any folding motorcycle helmet support that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a foldable motorcycle helmet holder that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present description. The invention relates to a foldable helmet holder comprising a fixed base for installation on a vehicle, such as a motorcycle, for example on the handlebars or a rear luggage rack; a folding arm attached to the fixed base and movable between a rest position aligned with the vehicle structure and an operating position; and a support platform at the free end of the folding arm, configured to hold the helmet. The support platform has a contact surface, preferably convex and adapted to the shape of the helmet's interior, providing stable and secure placement while the vehicle is parked and facilitating the user's placement and removal of the helmet. Furthermore, the assembly is integrated with the geometry of the vehicle when it is in a resting position, minimizing interference with driving and surrounding elements. This invention solves the problem of the lack of a suitable and accessible support for motorcycle helmets during brief stops. Currently, motorcyclists face difficulties when trying to leave their helmets in a safe place, as traditional methods, such as leaving them on the seat or on the ground, do not guarantee stability or protection. This invention responds to the need to offer an option that is not only practical and functional, but also easy to use, economical and accessible, improving the user experience. The foldable helmet rack is useful for all motorcyclists who need a simple and secure solution for storing their helmet during short stops. This invention is especially beneficial for those looking for a compact option that doesn't interfere with riding or take up extra space when not in use. Furthermore, it is useful for motorcyclists who want a quick and easy installation, while maintaining the stability and protection of their helmet at all times. It is envisaged that the fixed base may have a rigid support with a ball joint connecting to the folding arm, constituting an anchor point that allows the tilting arm to be folded and guided during movement, favoring alignment between components and reducing structural stresses during continuous use; in this way the overall stability of the assembly is improved by absorbing geometric misalignments of the vehicle. Likewise, the fixed base can be attached to the surface of the handlebar or the rear luggage rack of the vehicle using mechanical fastening elements (screws, clamps...) or adhesive, establishing a sufficiently firm bond against vibrations and dynamic stresses, which helps to keep the support stable during driving and parking. Furthermore, the folding arm may include an articulated, flexible or telescopic mechanism that allows its extension in the operating position and its compact folding in the resting position, facilitating the spatial adaptation of the assembly to the vehicle environment and reducing the external volume when not in use; this configuration contributes to improving the ergonomics of handling. In addition, the support platform may have a generally convex disc-shaped configuration with a curved surface for supporting the helmet, providing a continuous contact area that promotes automatic positioning, by weight, of the helmet on the support and reduces lateral displacements during parking. Similarly, the support platform may include a flexible surface configured to adapt to the surface of the helmet, increasing the effective contact surface and dampening vibrations transmitted from the vehicle, which helps to preserve the surface finish of the helmet. The flexible surface can be made of an elastomeric material, providing elasticity and shape recovery after the helmet is removed, which prolongs the component's lifespan and improves protection against minor impacts. Finally, the fixed base, folding arm and support platform can be manufactured by 3D printing in thermoplastic materials selected from PLA+, PETG or ABS, allowing a lightweight and resistant construction with adapted geometries, which facilitates dimensional customization and optimizes manufacturing processes. The use of the folding motorcycle helmet holder involves installing the fixed base on the handlebars or on the rear luggage rack surface of the vehicle, after which the folding arm is moved from a resting position aligned with the vehicle structure to an operational position. In this position, the helmet rests on the support platform, whose curved surface, adapted to the helmet's shape, provides a stable base. This platform can be combined with a flexible surface that enhances the contact area. After use, the folding arm returns to its resting position via its articulated, flexible, or telescopic mechanism, integrating the assembly with the vehicle's geometry and reducing its overall size. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 illustrates an example of the folding helmet stand in the deployed position. Figure 2 illustrates an example of the folding helmet stand in the folded position. Figure 3 shows the folding helmet holder in use, showing the arrangement of the fixed base on the vehicle handlebar. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION. The represented folding helmet holder comprises a fixed base (1) intended to be installed on the handlebars or on a rear luggage rack of a vehicle, such as a motorcycle, a folding arm (2) attached to said fixed base (1) and movable between a rest position aligned with the structure of the vehicle and an operational position, and a support platform (3) disposed at the free end of the folding arm (2), configured to support the helmet from the inside, in this case having said support platform (3) having a curved contact surface adapted to the shape of the helmet, establishing a stable seating surface that distributes the loads on the helmet shell, prevents accidental displacements during vehicle parking and keeps the helmet separate from the bodywork, preventing rubbing and surface damage. In a preferred embodiment, the fixed base (1) comprises a rigid support with a ball joint that constitutes the anchor point and allows the tilting arm (2) to be folded down, facilitating the controlled movement of the assembly between the operating position and the rest position, absorbing misalignments derived from the geometry of the vehicle and ensuring smooth guidance during the folding maneuver. Preferably, the fixed base (1) is attached to the handlebar or rear luggage rack of the vehicle using mechanical or adhesive fasteners, establishing a firm connection that prevents vibrations while driving and keeps the mount attached to the vehicle even under the dynamic stresses of normal driving. In other words, it does not require welding or other more complex types of fastening. Preferably, the folding arm (2) comprises an articulated, flexible or telescopic mechanism that allows its extension in the operating position and its compact folding in the rest position, determining a guided path that brings the support platform (3) closer to a position accessible to the user and subsequently folds it down next to the vehicle, reducing the external volume of the assembly and avoiding interference with the driver or with nearby elements. The support platform (3) typically has a convex, disc-shaped overall configuration, with a curved surface supporting the helmet, creating a continuous contact area that stabilizes the helmet's position and automatically centers its placement on the support. Generally, the support platform (3) comprises a flexible surface configured to adapt to the surface of the hull, producing a uniform seating that increases contact friction and prevents unwanted twisting or tilting. In this preferred mode, the flexible surface is made of an elastomeric material, providing cushioning against vibrations transmitted by the vehicle and protecting the helmet surface from impacts and pressure marks. In another preferred embodiment, the fixed base (1), the folding arm (2) and the support platform (3) are manufactured by 3D printing in thermoplastic materials selected from PLA+, PETG or ABS, obtaining a light and resistant structure, with tight tolerances between components and a constructive integration that favors the dimensional repeatability of the assembly. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.

1. A folding helmet holder, characterized by comprising a fixed base (1) for installation on a vehicle, a folding arm (2) attached to said fixed base (1) and movable between a rest position aligned with the vehicle structure and an operational position, and a support platform (3) disposed at the free end of the folding arm (2), configured to support the helmet from the inside.

2. A folding helmet holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixed base (1) comprises a rigid support with a ball joint for connecting the folding arm (2).

3. A folding helmet holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixed base (1) comprises elements for mechanical or adhesive attachment to the vehicle.

4. A folding helmet holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the folding arm (2) comprises an extension mechanism. 5.A folding helmet stand according to claim 1, characterized in that the support platform (3) has a generally convex, disc-shaped configuration.
