Abstract
Solid matrix support for the cultivation of plant and fungal species comprising a solid body of mineral-organic matrix and a water transfer system, characterized in that, as said body, it comprises an active matrix (1), consisting of a solid body of variable configuration which, geometrically conformable in its manufacturing phase, is suitable to act as a mechanical root support and as a biologically active substrate for organisms of the Plantae and Fungi kingdoms; in that the structure and composition of said active matrix (1) presents an interconnected microporosity that integrates slow-release nutrients and pH regulators; because it comprises a condensation and gas storage chamber (5), defined by the upper edge of the active matrix (1), between this and the surface of the reticular or micellar system (7) of the culture, which generates a thermal gradient that facilitates the condensation of atmospheric moisture; and because the active matrix (1) also incorporates, as a water and nutrient re-activation system, which allows the cyclical replenishment of the ionic and microbiological charge of said matrix, enabling its use in cultivation systems with or without soil, a solution composed of a mixture, in powder or liquid form, of natural ingredients formulated to act as a reservoir of nutrients for immediate and sustained release.
