Abstract

A solar tracker (1) comprising: - At least one support (1a, 1b, 1c) attached to a pivot axis (1d), on which at least one photovoltaic solar panel (1e) is mounted. - A tracking system (2). - A hydraulic damping device with speed lock for single-axis solar trackers (3), connected to the pivot axis (1d), comprising: A fixed cylinder (3a) and a movable cylinder (3b), concentric, which are connected at their lower part, at least, to a vertical support (1c), and connected at their upper part to the pivot axis (1d), such that the displacement position of both cylinders establishes the angular locking position of the pivot axis (1d). And it is characterized in that: - A fixed cylinder (3a), inside which a rod (4a) is fixed, which is integral with a piston (4b) and a shut-off valve (4c). {1. } A movable cylinder (3b), which moves within the fixed cylinder (3a), and comprises two internal chambers (4d) separated by the piston (4b) between which a hydraulic fluid circulates.
