Abstract

An automatic machine for the internal emptying of fruits or vegetables, characterized in that it comprises a supporting structure (1); a product positioning system (2) disposed on said supporting structure (1); a motorized product rotation mechanism (3); a cutting tool (4) configured to be inserted into the interior of the fruit or vegetable; a linear actuator (5) configured to cause the axial displacement of the cutting tool (4); at least one distance sensor (6) configured to measure product dimensions; and a programmable control unit (7) connected to the rotation mechanism (3), the linear actuator (5), and the distance sensor (6), said programmable control unit (7) being configured to automatically determine at least one operating parameter of the cutting tool (4) based on data obtained by the distance sensor (6) during the internal emptying process.
