Abstract
Description
Retractable sunshade for vehicle OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this specification indicates, is a retractable sunshade for vehicles. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current technology. The present invention falls within the general vehicle sector. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from observing that vehicles, especially motorcycles, remain exposed to the elements for long periods in parking areas, which causes a considerable increase in temperature in their upper parts. In everyday situations, this direct exposure to sunlight causes discomfort for users when using the vehicle, due to the excessive heating of surfaces such as seats or other contact areas. Furthermore, existing solutions are often impractical, difficult to install, or detract from the vehicle's appearance. Accordingly, this invention proposes a retractable vehicle sunshade that can be easily attached and removed, providing effective coverage of exposed parts of the vehicle, especially the fuel tank on motorcycles, without interfering with its appearance or normal use. Currently, there is no known existence of any retractable vehicle sunshade that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a retractable vehicle sunshade that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description. The invention relates to a retractable vehicle sunshade comprising a cylinder housing a rotating roller with a retractable mechanism connected to one end of a deployable cover. The cover is provided at its free end with an anchoring means for securing it to an area of the vehicle opposite the roller, with the cover positioned externally over at least a portion of the upper part of the vehicle. A slot in the cylinder allows the cover to slide onto the roller. The assembly is integrated as an external element of the vehicle and is designed for occasional use, being able to be deployed and retracted according to the conditions of use of the vehicle. This innovation solves the problem arising from the increase in temperature in the upper parts of the vehicle when it remains parked for extended periods, improving the user experience when accessing it without requiring complex or permanent solutions that alter its usual configuration. The proposed solution is especially useful in open-air parking environments, as it offers practical and easy-to-use protection, helping to preserve user comfort and maintain suitable vehicle usage conditions, while facilitating its daily use without affecting its appearance or functionality. The cylinder is envisaged to have an elongated configuration and may be positioned transversely to the vehicle, defining an internal housing for rolling up the cover. This transverse arrangement can facilitate a balanced integration of the assembly within the vehicle and contribute to an orderly distribution of the cover during its deployment and retraction movements. This geometric configuration of the cylinder also allows the assembly to adapt to different widths and vehicle types, facilitating its installation without interfering with other elements of the vehicle. The cylinder may also include an elongated gripping means for attaching it to the handlebars or another part of the vehicle. This gripping means can serve as a support and positioning element for the assembly, helping to keep the roller in a stable position while the sunshade is deployed. In this way, the mounting system can facilitate both the installation and removal of the assembly, allowing the system to be practically integrated into the vehicle and compatible with different handlebar designs. On the other hand, the cover can be made of a textile material or a resistant thermal mesh, arranged in a rollable fashion around the roller. This type of material can offer adequate coverage of the vehicle's exposed surfaces from solar radiation, while also allowing for compact rolling inside the roller when not in use. Furthermore, the choice of textile or thermal mesh materials can help combine mechanical resistance, flexibility and durability, favoring repeated use of the sunscreen in different environmental conditions. Finally, the retractable roller mechanism may include a manual, semi-automatic, or automatic drive system for rolling and unrolling the cover. This drive system can facilitate control of the cover's deployment and retraction during use, allowing the assembly to adapt to different usage preferences and vehicle configurations. The incorporation of a drive system with these characteristics can contribute to improving the ease of handling the sunscreen, maintaining orderly operation of the retractable mechanism under different conditions of use. To use the retractable sunshade, the user must place the cylinder with retractable mechanism in the vehicle and, when exposure conditions require it, activate the drive system to allow the cover to be unrolled from inside the cylinder. Next, the user must extend the cover over the top of the vehicle and secure its free end using the anchoring means, so that the cover is attached to an area of the vehicle opposite the roller arrangement. Once use is complete, the user must release the anchoring means and allow the retractable mechanism to roll the cover back onto the roller, leaving the assembly collected and ready for later use without interfering with the normal handling of the vehicle. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 illustrates the retractable vehicle sunshade. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The retractable vehicle sunshade comprises a cylinder (1) with a rotating inner roller, around which a retractable cover (2) is wound. The cover (2) has an anchoring means (3) at its free end for securing it to an area of the vehicle opposite the cylinder (1). In this way, the cover (2) is positioned externally over at least part of the upper portion of the vehicle, allowing it to securely cover exposed surfaces while parked, maintaining an orderly arrangement of the assembly and seamless integration with the vehicle's structure. In a preferred embodiment, the cylinder (1) has an elongated configuration and is positioned transversely with respect to the vehicle, defining an internal housing specifically adapted for rolling up the cover (2). This transverse arrangement facilitates uniform distribution of the cover during its deployment and retraction, contributing to the smooth operation of the retractable mechanism and a balanced integration of the assembly into the vehicle, without interfering with other structural elements of the vehicle. Preferably, the cylinder (1) comprises an elongated gripping means (4) for attachment to the vehicle's handlebars. This gripping means (4) allows for firm fixing of the cylinder (1) in a defined position, ensuring the stability of the assembly during use and guaranteeing proper positioning of the sunshade relative to the top of the vehicle, while also facilitating its assembly and disassembly. Typically, the cover (2) is made of a textile material or a resistant thermal mesh, arranged in a rollable manner inside the cylinder (1). This configuration allows the cover (2) to combine flexibility and mechanical strength, ensuring effective coverage of the vehicle's exposed surfaces and enabling compact rolling inside the cylinder (1) when the sunshade is not deployed, thus promoting its durability and repeated use in different environmental conditions. Generally, the roller's retractable mechanism comprises a manual, semi-automatic, or automatic drive system associated with the rolling and unrolling of the cover (2). This drive system ensures precise control of the cover's movement (2), allowing a smooth transition between the deployed and retracted positions, and contributing to convenient and efficient handling of the sunshade during daily use. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
