Abstract
Description
ONE-LEG PANTIES TECHNICAL SECTOR This utility model application concerns a garment within the textile sector. The garment in question is a pair of pieces designed to cover from the waist to the foot, fitted to the body on both legs, with a configuration that incorporates several advantages over other garments with the same use but in different formats. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Originally, pantyhose were a men's garment made like wide trousers that covered part of the leg, tied with ribbons at the waist, and whose central seam, running from the fly to the buttocks, was open to facilitate urination and defecation without having to lower the pantyhose. Their use would be the equivalent of underwear today, and the making of this garment was done by hand. Currently, in industrial production, pantyhose and tights are garments that cover from the feet to the waist. They are mostly worn by women, although there are also stockings, tights, and leggings used by athletes, artists, technicians, and factory workers of both sexes. The more a garment is handled, the greater the risk of tearing, especially if it's made of a particularly fragile material (as mentioned earlier). Therefore, pulling it up and down, when necessary for hygiene reasons, shortens its lifespan. This is because when one of the legs tears or rips, which frequently happens with silk, nylon, and other types of tights, as well as knitted leggings, the garment becomes completely unusable. Some garments eliminate the need to pull the garment up and down to relieve themselves, featuring an opening in the center of the crotch that comes in various sizes. However, this area remains exposed at all times. Other garments include an opening in this area with a button, zipper, Velcro, or other fastener, allowing it to be opened and closed for the same purpose and for hygiene without having to lower the garment from the waist. In both cases, the garment covers both legs, so if one of the legs breaks or deteriorates, the pair becomes unusable. This problem is solved by stockings and tights that cover from the mid-thigh to the upper thigh because, since they are not joined at the crotch, if one pair tears or rips, the user can discard it and continue using the other pair in good condition. These types of stockings and tights do not need to be altered when using the toilet and are generally worn with underwear. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION This utility model is a panty that is presented as a two-piece garment, each of which covers a single leg and has its own panty (figures 1 and 2). Thus, the two pieces of a pair of pantyhose with one leg cover both legs like stockings or tights (b), while the panties (a) overlap (c), with a design that allows both panties to be opened from the center of the crotch towards the sides (Figure 4), exposing from the pubis (e) to the buttocks (f). This opening of the panties allows the use of the toilet without having to pull the pantyhose down and up. Using pantyhose with a single leg prevents the waste of discarding a whole pair when only one leg tears. It also eliminates the need for separate underwear, as pantyhose include built-in briefs. In addition, single-leg tights allow the user to combine matching units, with solid colors or prints, in a personalized way. One-legged pantyhose also allow the use of sanitary pads and similar items of all types (common, with wings, etc.) facilitating correct placement in the panty that is in contact with the body, while the outer panty becomes a double support, which guarantees the complete immobility of the pad. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of drawings are included which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, represent the following: Figure 1 represents a one-legged panty, distinguishing at the top the panties (a), and at the bottom the leg (b) covering the left leg up to the foot. Figure 2 represents a one-legged panty, distinguishing at the top the panties (a), and at the bottom the leg (b) covering the right leg up to the foot. Figure 3 represents a pair of one-legged pantyhose (left and right) covering both legs, with the two panties overlapping (c). Figure 4 represents a front detail of a panty from a leg showing the displacement of the panty from the crotch towards the side (d). Figure 5 represents a front detail of the overlapping panties (c) of a pair of pantyhose with one leg and shows the displacement to the sides of both panties, leaving the crotch exposed from the pubis (e). Figure 6 represents a rear detail of the overlapping panties (c) of a pair of pantyhose and shows the displacement to the sides of both panties, to leave the area of the body that goes from the pubis to the rear (f) uncovered. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION It can be made with all types of yarns and materials (such as synthetic rubber, for example), when they constitute or form part of therapeutic, health, sports, safety or other equipment. It will have a design on its front specifically for men. The single-leg panty can be made as a single unit, without a pair, for use on one leg for a specific purpose, such as therapeutic use. Its primary design is intended to be produced in pairs to cover both legs. It can also be made attached to a garment that covers another part of the body (such as a bib that covers part of the torso), by means of sewing, zippers or another system; it can also be made as part of equipment by combining with other pieces that can be overlapped at the waist, crotch, and / or legs, such as a vest, harness or others. The two pieces of the pair can be symmetrical, so that the left and right are different, although the main realization for common and majority use is that the two pieces of the pair are identical, so that they are interchangeable, left and right.
