Abstract
Description
Modular toilet Technology sector The present invention relates to the sector of prefabricated modular toilets, and more particularly to a modular toilet consisting of at least one transportable prefabricated toilet module that can be grouped with other modules to form configurations adapted to different usage needs. Prior art These are prefabricated toilet modules or cabins designed for temporary or permanent installation in various locations, such as construction sites, public facilities, events, or temporary venues. These modules typically consist of a base, side walls, and a roof that enclose an interior space containing sanitary fixtures such as a toilet, sink, or shower. There are also modular solutions that integrate various sanitary fixtures within a single module, as well as transportable or demountable cubicles with pre-installed water, electricity, and drainage connections. Prefabricated sanitary modules are also available, designed to facilitate the rapid installation of complete restrooms or to optimize space utilization by integrating different sanitary fixtures. However, existing solutions have limitations in terms of functional flexibility, ease of transport, and modular assembly capacity. Specifically, the available precedents do not describe restroom modules with a figure-eight layout, defining two end zones and a narrower central zone, nor do they consider configurations designed to allow multiple modules to be coupled together using complementary geometries. Likewise, no solutions have been found that combine this geometric configuration with transportable prefabricated modules as complete units, equipped with sanitary fixtures and predefined installations, nor that incorporate specific structural means to facilitate the transport of the already assembled module. Explanation of the invention The object of the present invention is to provide a modular toilet that allows for high functional flexibility, facilitates the transport and installation of the modules, and allows the grouping of multiple units to adapt to different usage configurations. The modular toilet comprises at least one prefabricated toilet module with a figure-eight layout. The module includes a base, a roof, and side walls that define an interior space, as well as at least one door or access opening from the outside. The module is prefabricated and transported as a fully assembled unit, incorporating the corresponding sanitary fixtures, as well as the pre-installations for water supply, electricity supply and drainage, allowing for its rapid installation both permanently and temporarily in any location. Internally, the module defines two end zones corresponding to the widest parts of the floor plan and a narrower central zone located between these end zones. The end zones are designed to house different bathroom fixtures, such as a toilet, sink, shower, sauna, or jacuzzi, allowing for different combinations of bathroom elements to be included in each module. The central zone can be configured as a passageway between the extreme zones or as a separation zone between these zones, allowing their independent use. The base of the module has, at the bottom, in the area corresponding to the narrowest part of the floor plan configuration, a recess intended to house gripping and transport equipment, such as forklifts, pallet trucks or crane lifting equipment. The plan view of the module allows the coupling of several modules together, so that convex parts of one module fit into concave parts of another module, allowing the formation of modular and stable groupings with a variable number of units. The modules can be arranged independently or communicate with each other through defined passage openings in the contact areas. Brief description of the content of the drawings To complement the description being made and in order to facilitate the understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of drawings is attached to this descriptive report in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented: Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a toilet module according to the invention, in which the general plan shape and the lower recess for gripping and transport can be seen. Figure 2 shows a plan view of a toilet module sectioned by a horizontal plane, in which two end zones connected to each other through a central zone can be seen. Figure 3 shows a plan view of a toilet module sectioned by a horizontal plane, in which the extreme areas are separated by a partition located in the central area and have their own access doors. Figure 4 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the modular toilet, with two toilet modules arranged parallel to each other and coupled laterally. Figure 5 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the modular toilet provided with three toilet modules arranged parallel to each other and coupled laterally to one another. Figure 6 shows a plan view of a modular toilet sectioned by a horizontal plane and provided with three toilet modules forming a triangular grouping. Figure 7 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the modular toilet provided with three toilet modules aligned and coupled together. Figure 8 shows a perspective view of a modular toilet equipped with four toilet modules coupled together forming a quadrangular grouping. Detailed exposition of modes of implementation of the invention In the attached figures, the different elements have been identified with the following references: (1) toilet module (2) base (3) roof (4) side walls (5) door (6) , (7) extreme zones (8) central zone (9) partition (10) lower recess (11) convex zone (12) concave area (13) passage opening In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the modular toilet comprises at least one prefabricated toilet module (1) which, in Figure 1, has a figure-eight configuration, said module comprising a base (2), a roof (3), side walls (4), and an access door (5). As shown in Figure 2, the toilet module (1) internally defines two extreme zones (6, 7) corresponding to the wider parts of the floor plan configuration and a narrower central zone (8) located between these extreme zones. The extreme zones (6, 7) are intended to house different bathroom fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, showers, saunas or jacuzzis. In an embodiment shown in figure 2, the central zone (8) is configured as a passage zone between the extreme zones (6, 7), allowing the joint use of both, and a dryer can be incorporated in said central zone, as shown in two of the modules in figure 6, or any other accessory related to hygiene and body care. In another embodiment, shown in Figure 3, the central zone (8) comprises a partition wall (9) that divides the end zones (6, 7), allowing their independent use. In this specific embodiment, each of the modules (1) comprises a sink and a toilet. In this configuration, each extreme zone (6, 7) has its own access door (5). The toilet module (1) also includes pre-installations for water supply, electricity supply and drainage, which allow for quick installation of the module. The base (2) of the toilet module has at the bottom, in the central area (8), a recess (10) intended for the passage or accommodation of support and transport means, such as the forks of a forklift or a pallet truck. As can be seen in figures 4 to 8, the plan configuration of the module allows the coupling of several toilet modules (1), such that a convex area (11) of one toilet module (1) is partially housed in a concave area (12) of another toilet module (1) · The toilet modules (1) can be arranged in groups of two, three or more units and, as shown in Figure 6, communication between the modules can be established through passage openings (13) defined in their respective side walls. The resulting groups can adopt different configurations depending on the installation needs. Once the nature of the invention has been sufficiently described, as well as an example of a preferred embodiment, it is noted for the appropriate purposes that the materials, shape, size and arrangement of the elements described may be modified, provided that this does not imply an alteration of the essential characteristics of the invention claimed below.
