Abstract
Description
Door with an intervening compartment for receiving parcels OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this specification indicates, is a door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current technology. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of fixed constructions, in the subclass of doors, windows, shutters or metal roller curtains, in general, and stairs, especially in fixed or movable closures for the opening of buildings, vehicles, palisades or similar enclosures in general, for example, doors, windows, curtains and porticoes, specifically in special arrangements or devices related to doors or windows that correspond to the classification of peepholes, devices for speaking through the door and doors provided with windows. STATE OF THE ART The present invention relates to a system intended to improve the delivery and reception of bulky parcels in residential environments. The sustained growth of e-commerce has significantly increased the frequency and volume of shipments to private homes, highlighting the limitations of traditional parcel delivery systems. In particular, conventional mailboxes and delivery boxes are not adapted to accommodate large packages, which often forces the recipient to be present at the time of delivery or to resort to external collection points. Additionally, when delivery drivers are unable to deliver directly to the recipient, packages are often left without sufficient protection outside the home, which carries risks of theft, damage or loss, as well as privacy and security issues. In this context, the invention proposes a door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels, which allows the safe deposit and storage of packages without the need for the presence of the recipient. This solution provides a reception area integrated into the entrance door itself, preventing direct access to the interior of the home and allowing for controlled package delivery, combining functionality, security, and proper integration into the residential environment. Currently, there is no known existence of any door that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels, which provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description. The invention relates to a door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels, consisting of a main door intended for installation in a dwelling, business, industrial facility, or office (hereinafter referred to as "dwelling"), which has a receiving drawer provided with at least one opening that can be closed by an auxiliary door within the door itself. Thus, the receiving drawer is accessible from the outside of the main door through the external auxiliary door, which is equipped with an electronic locking system configured to receive opening and closing commands from a remote external device, for example, via the internet. This allows parcels to be deposited in the receiving drawer without providing direct access to the interior of the dwelling and without requiring the presence of a person in the dwelling. This configuration defines a reception area integrated into the access door itself, allowing for the controlled deposit and storage of parcels without enabling direct access to the interior of the home, thus contributing to improving the security and functionality of the access system. Thus, the invention solves the problem of receiving and storing bulky parcels in homes without the need for the recipient's presence, allowing for automatic and secure parcel delivery against unauthorized access. As highlighted, the solution is applicable both in private homes and in other environments such as shops, offices or residential communities, where an integrated system in the access door is required to facilitate the delivery and safe custody of parcels. It is envisaged that the main door will be provided with guide rails attached to said main door and / or an interior frame, on which the reception drawer is mounted, allowing the definition of a structural support for the guidance and support of the drawer. This arrangement can facilitate a stable installation of the unit and precise alignment of the reception drawer with the main door opening, contributing to regular and controlled operation of the system. The receiving drawer can also be mounted in a detachable, movable position relative to the main door, using guide rails, so that it can be pulled out into the house to retrieve the packages. In this case, it should preferably have a handle. It is also desirable that the receiving drawer have wheels attached to its bottom to facilitate movement, allowing it to be rolled easily onto a lower support surface. This arrangement can reduce the effort required to remove the drawer and allow it to be transported as a mobile item within the home. This configuration can facilitate access to the drawer contents from the inside, improve ergonomics when handling packages, and allow for different travel lengths adapted to the available space. Furthermore, the auxiliary door can be equipped with an automatic closing mechanism that causes it to close after being opened to deposit a package, ensuring that the outer opening remains closed without additional manual intervention. In other words, it ensures that the delivery person does not need to properly close the auxiliary door, as it closes automatically. This feature can help keep the compartment protected against unauthorized access and preserve the functional continuity of the system after each delivery operation. Generally, the electronic locking system usually comprises an electric actuator and a control unit configured to operate a mechanical locking element of the external auxiliary door in response to opening and closing commands received from the remote external device. This architecture allows for precise management of the locking and unlocking of the external auxiliary door and facilitates the integration of different types of actuators and interlocking mechanisms. Furthermore, the control unit can be configured to communicate with the remote external device via a wireless network, such as a WiFi and / or Bluetooth network, allowing the transmission of opening and closing commands without the need for physical connections. This communication capability can expand the system's control possibilities and facilitate its integration with existing home networks or home automation systems. Likewise, the remote external device can be a mobile phone running a computer application configured to generate and transmit opening and closing commands to the electronic lock system. This implementation can facilitate remote access authorization, remote delivery management, and customization of usage permissions based on different users or situations. Additionally, the main door may have a lock plate, usually decorated, integrated into its exterior and movable, for example upwards, to give access to the auxiliary door, and downwards to a closed position in which it hides the reception drawer. This lock plate can contribute to the aesthetic integration of the system into the main door and to the visual concealment of the compartment when not in use. To use the door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels, the user must keep the main door closed and enable, through the external remote device, the opening of the auxiliary exterior door to allow the deposit of a package in the receiving drawer. Once the deposit has been made, the auxiliary exterior door is closed, leaving the package stored inside the compartment without direct access to the interior of the house. The user must then pull the receiving drawer into the home to retrieve the package and return the drawer to its original position. If desired, the package can be accessed through the auxiliary door without disassembling the drawer. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 illustrates the exterior view of the door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels. Figure 2 illustrates the interior view of the door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION. The door with an interposed compartment for receiving parcels consists of a door (1) which has a receiving drawer (2) configured as a closed volume physically interposed between the exterior of the door (1) and the interior of the dwelling. The receiving drawer (2) is located in an opening in the door (1) that can be closed by means of an auxiliary door (3). Thus, the receiving drawer (2) is accessible from the outside of the door (1) through the auxiliary door (3), which is equipped with an electronic locking system (4) configured to receive opening and closing commands from a remote external device. This allows parcels to be deposited in the receiving drawer (2) without providing direct access to the interior of the dwelling. This configuration defines an intermediate custody space that prevents direct communication between the exterior and interior of the home, guaranteeing the physical integrity of the main enclosure and providing a controlled environment for the delivery and storage of parcels. Generally, the receiving drawer (2) will be detachable into different pieces, for example into five pieces (one for each side of the drawer, except for the auxiliary door (3) which remains on the door (1) to block the opening) so that it can be conveniently stored without taking up too much space. In a preferred embodiment, the door (1) has an opening provided with guide rails attached to the door (1) and / or an internal frame, on which the receiving drawer (2) is detachably mounted. This structural arrangement ensures precise guidance of the receiving drawer (2) during its movements and correct alignment with the door opening (1), contributing to stable operation of the assembly and a uniform distribution of loads during the insertion and extraction of packages. Preferably, the receiving drawer (2) is mounted to slide relative to the door (1) using guide rails, allowing it to be pulled into the dwelling for retrieval of deposited packages. This configuration facilitates ergonomic access to the contents of the receiving drawer (2) from the inside, reduces the need for forced handling, and allows for convenient and safe retrieval of stored packages. Preferably, the auxiliary door (3) is equipped with an automatic closing mechanism that closes it after it is opened to deposit a package. This mechanism ensures that the auxiliary door (3) systematically returns to a closed position after each delivery operation, keeping the receiving drawer (2) protected from unauthorized access and preserving the system's continued functionality without additional manual intervention. This mechanism can be motorized, spring-loaded, etc. Typically, the electronic locking system (4) comprises an electric actuator and a control unit configured to operate a mechanical locking element of the auxiliary door (3) in response to opening and closing commands received from the remote external device. This architecture allows for precise management of the auxiliary door (3) interlock, ensuring an immediate response to control commands and high reliability in opening and closing access to the receiving drawer (2). Typically, the control unit is configured to communicate with the remote external device via a wireless network such as Wi-Fi and / or Bluetooth. This wireless communication capability allows for the transmission of opening and closing commands without the need for direct physical connections, facilitating system integration into existing home networks and expanding remote control possibilities. Alternatively, the remote external device is a mobile phone running a computer application configured to generate and transmit opening and closing commands to the electronic lock system (4). This implementation enables remote authorization of access to the receiving drawer (2), real-time delivery management, and administration of usage permissions for different users. In another preferred embodiment, the door (1) has an integrated locking plate on its exterior that can be moved to provide access to the auxiliary door (3), up to a closed position that conceals the receiving drawer (2). This locking plate contributes to the aesthetic integration of the assembly within the door (1), visually concealing the compartment when not in use and preserving the conventional appearance of the enclosure. The receiving drawer (2) is typically equipped with wheels attached to its underside to facilitate movement. This design reduces friction during the removal and insertion of the receiving drawer (2), makes it easier to handle even when loaded with bulky packages, and improves the smoothness and stability of its movement on an interior support surface. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
