Ureteral catheter for renal irrigation

Abstract

A renal irrigation ureteral catheter, configured for insertion through the ureter (3) into the kidney (1), characterized in that it comprises - an inner tube (5) configured to admit the passage of a standard urological guidewire and made of opaque plastic, comprising an inner proximal end (6) and an inner distal end (7) configured for insertion into the kidney (1) and made at least partly of radiopaque material, and - an outer tube (8) coaxial to the inner tube (5) made of transparent material, comprising an outer proximal end (9) and an outer distal end (10) configured for insertion into the kidney (1) and made at least partly of radiopaque material, the outer tube (8) being configured to contain the inner tube (5), the two tubes (5, 8) sliding against each other.
