Description

SELECTIVE WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEM Field of invention The present invention relates to a selective waste collection system that, through a series of modules that can be connected in various ways, forms a modular selective waste collection system adaptable to different locations and requirements. The selective waste collection system of the invention is applicable to the recycling industry. Background of the invention Currently, there are special waste streams that must be treated separately from regular waste, and the only way to dispose of them responsibly is at designated recycling centers. This requirement necessitates traveling to the location of these centers, which are generally on the outskirts of the municipality. In small or resource-limited municipalities, residents may have to travel several kilometers or even to other towns to dispose of this type of waste responsibly, which often results in special waste being mixed with regular waste for disposal. In some municipalities, to avoid these inconveniences, a collection vehicle is made available to residents. This vehicle parks one day a week in a designated area, and residents must store their separated waste at home and then take it to the collection point on the designated day. Other options available include trailers that are temporarily installed in designated areas, or large modular units that can handle a wide variety of waste streams. Often, municipalities find it difficult to manage such a large number of special waste streams. Brief description of the invention The invention relates to a selective waste collection system comprising at least one element to be chosen from a first module, a second module and a third module, such that the three modules are configured to be joined together. Each module comprises a frame configured by several welded pieces comprising two side faces, a rear face, a bottom face, a top face and at least one front face that configure an interior housing for a plurality of inner containers; an access door, located on the front face or on a side face, comprising at least one waste opening, with its respective hinged lid; a series of regulating stops configured to limit the free movement of the inner containers; a ramp on the bottom face configured to facilitate the positioning, removal and entry of each container into the interior housing; and a plurality of metal plates, fixed to the frame that hinder access and removal of waste from the outside. Each waste outlet is associated with an inner container, and each hinged lid has larger dimensions than the waste outlet it is associated with, and is attached to the frame by means of a hinged joint that allows the hinged lid to rotate inwards. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, the plurality of containers located in the interior housing comprises at least one container for small fractions, and at least one container for bulky fractions. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, the front and / or side doors comprise an opening system by means of an axle and two bearings, and closing by means of a three-point anchor security lock. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, the waste outlets comprise a signage piece with a thickness of no less than 10mm and a plate identifying its pictogram, legend and relief in Braille. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, the legend has a font size of 15mm in height per character. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, the waste inlets have a level below 110 cm in height measured from the base. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, each hinged lid has a smooth surface. In the selective waste collection system that is the subject of the invention, each module houses one or more photovoltaic panels on its upper surface. Preferred embodiment of the invention The object of the invention is a selective waste collection system comprising, in the preferred embodiment, a first module (1), a second module (2) and a third module (3), such that the three modules (1, 2, 3) can be joined together, forming a series of arrangements, starting with seven different distributions, in the case of using one unit of first module (1), one unit of second module (2) and one unit of third module (3), up to infinite options if the number of modules (1, 2, 3) is increased. Each module (1, 2, 3) of the system that is the subject of the present invention comprises: - a frame (4), which in the preferred embodiment is made of stainless steel, configured by several welded pieces (25) comprising two side faces (20), a rear face (21), a lower face (22), an upper face (23) and a front face (24) that configure an internal housing (5) without an internal structure where a plurality of internal containers are located where the waste is deposited; - an access door (6), located on the front face or on a side face, containing different waste outlets (7), with their respective hinged lids (8), which have a silent closing system, - a series of regulating stops (9) to limit the free movement of the inner containers (12, 13), - on the underside (22) a ramp (10) towards the interior that facilitates the positioning, removal and entry of the inner containers (12, 13) into the inner housing (5), and - a plurality of metal plates (11), fixed to the frame (4) that hinder access and removal of waste from the outside. The possible combination of different numbers of modules and access to the interior from different sides makes the system subject to the invention adaptable to any urban space, offering front access, access only from the sides, or from both sides in a combined manner, which presents a great advantage of flexibility for customers and users. The plurality of containers (12, 13) located in the interior housing (5) configures a modular system for the separation, storage and transport of waste, for which it comprises: - at least one container for small fractions (12) (from 16 to 21 liters) - at least one container for bulky fractions (13) (from 80 to 120 liters), using, in the preferred embodiment, standardized rear-loading plastic containers. The containers for small fractions (12) are made of metal, plastic or some composite material that provides environmental advantages. The containers for bulky fractions (13), in the preferred embodiment, have wheels and handles to facilitate handling. Each hinged lid (8) has larger dimensions than the waste opening (7) to which it is attached, and is joined to the frame (4) by means of a hinged joint (14) which allows inward rotation and prevents outward rotation by contact of the hinged lid (8) with the frame (4), allowing only the hinged lid (8) to be folded inwards. Each hinged lid (8) has a smooth surface, which prevents possible snagging or damage from rubbing. The access doors (6) comprise an opening system by means of a shaft (15) and two bearings (16), and a closure by means of a three-point anchor security lock (17). This configuration allows direct access by the operators in charge of emptying them, making the replacement of full containers with empty ones completely accessible. The waste inlets (7) have their surface below 110 cm in height measured from the base, which allows all fractions to always be accessible to people with reduced mobility, without penalizing the total capacity of the module, and having the advantage of being accessible to the general public The waste inlets (7) comprise a signage piece (18) of a thickness of no less than 10mm, to withstand the friction of different wastes and, comprise a plate (19) identifying its pictogram, legend and relief in Braille to signal the fraction of waste according to the waste inlet (7). The legend features a font size of 15mm in height per character, which improves the quality of communication for all users. Optionally, each module (1, 2, 3) can house on its upper face one or more photovoltaic panels (19) to power a series of electronic sensors located inside each module (1, 2, 3), so that each module (1, 2, 3) has greater independence without having a connection to the electrical grid or batteries
