Abstract

Vertically driven mop wringer with torsional movement for a mop bucket, comprising a static base (2) and a movable wringing basket (3) located within a cavity (13) of the base (2); wherein the basket (3) is coupled onto the base (2) by means of a mechanism located in correspondence with bottoms of the base (2) and the basket (3); and wherein an axial displacement of the bottom of the basket (3) generates a simultaneous rotation of said basket (3) with a helical path of the bottom of the basket (3); characterized in that: - the basket (3) comprises a deformable elastic structure formed by double radial arms (17) comprising internal parts (17a) that converge at the bottom of the basket (3), and external parts (17b) that are joined by a lower belt (18) that includes a lower edge (12) that rests on an annular seat (6) of the base (2) that delimits an opening of the cavity (13) of said base (2); wherein said lower belt (18) is located above the bottom of the basket (3); - the internal parts (17a) and the external parts (17b) of the radial arms (17) are joined by a succession of edges (19) that delimit an opening of the basket (3).
