Abstract
A light guidance system (10) comprising at least an image projector (11) configured for generating light in the form of a first image (15), and further comprising a first holographic lens (12), a second holographic lens (14), and a waveguide substrate (13) comprising an inlet portion (16), a central portion (17), and an outlet portion (18), the light guidance system (10) being characterized in that the waveguide substrate (13) comprises at least a first outer face (7a) (19) and a second outer face (7a) (20) opposite said first outer face (7a) (19); the first holographic lens (12) is disposed on one of the outer faces (19, 20) of the waveguide substrate (13) in its inlet portion (16); The second holographic lens (14) is arranged on one of the outer faces (19, 20) of the waveguide substrate (13) in its outlet portion (18); the image projector (11) is configured to direct the light it generates towards the first holographic lens (12); the first holographic lens (12) is configured to guide the light it receives from the image projector (11) into the inlet portion (16) of the waveguide substrate (13); the central portion (17) is configured to guide the light guided by the first holographic lens (12) from the inlet portion (16) to the outlet portion (18); the second holographic lens (14) is configured to receive the light guided to the outlet portion (18) by the central portion (17), and guide the light it receives to the outside of the outlet portion (18) of the waveguide substrate (13); and the first holographic lens (12), the second holographic lens (14), and the waveguide substrate (13) are configured such that the waveguide substrate (13) guides the light generated by the image projector (11) within it by total internal reflection, so that, from the light guided by the second holographic lens (14) to the outside of the output portion (18) of the waveguide substrate (13), the first image (15) generated by the image projector (11) is reproduced with a second image (21).
