Description

Water management system OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this descriptive document states, is a water management system. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current techniques. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the mechanical sector, especially in elements or technology sets, in the classification of thermal insulation in general, specifically in valves, taps, gates, floats for actuation. Similarly, it falls within the fixed construction sector, especially in water supply and drainage, in the classification of domestic plumbing installations for water supply or drainage, consisting solely of a check valve and even using water admission valves. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from the excessive consumption of water by users, which contributes to the scarcity of water resources and the emergence of worrying droughts. The excessive waste of water today, due to lack of awareness and high daily consumption, is generating significant droughts that are already manifesting themselves in lakes and swamps where there was previously abundant water. Consequently, this invention provides a water management system that enables more efficient water management through automated consumption control, facilitates equitable allocation of water resources among users, and helps prevent water waste. Currently, there is no known water management system that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a water management system that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description. The present invention relates to a water management system comprising a water consumption regulator that includes a water meter (generally a volumetric meter), a timer, and a valve that closes once a specific quantity of water has been consumed. For simplicity, the meter and timer are usually located near or integrated into the valve. This allows for monitoring the supply and limiting daily consumption in a residential or commercial setting, with the water consumption regulator being directly connected to the water meter of the water supply network. The valve closure is preferably complete, but it can also be partial, reducing the flow but not cutting it off. Thus, when the meter reaches a preset value, it triggers a shutoff (total or partial) for the valve. The meter resets each time the timer detects that a preset time (days, months, weeks, etc.) has elapsed. The time and amount of water depend on the objective. For example, at the entrance to a bathroom, the time could be minutes or hours. In a hotel room, the time could be daily. The amount of water will correspond to the preset time. This water consumption regulator results in a mechanism that controls the valve closure based on the detected consumption, allowing the valve to automatically reactivate to begin a new supply cycle according to a programmed schedule measured on the timer. In summary, the water consumption regulator is configured to close the valve when the water meter detects consumption exceeding a preset limit within a preset time measured by the timer. This invention provides a solution to excessive and inequitable water consumption in residential and commercial settings by integrating a water consumption regulator with automatic measurement and control capabilities. It allows for optimized water supply management in residential or commercial environments. This water management system is beneficial because it allows you to set specific consumption limits per person or per facility, automatically closing the valve once the preset daily limit is reached. This regulator is equipped with a valve that automatically closes when a predefined consumption volume is reached, thus limiting daily water usage. Furthermore, it is directly connected to the mains water meter, facilitating efficient and safe integration. The water consumption regulator allows you to assign a specific daily, monthly, etc. consumption limit for each resident or for the estimated occupancy of a commercial facility, thus contributing to an equitable distribution of the resource. Additionally, the water consumption regulator preferably incorporates a filter that helps prevent blockages in the system, thus ensuring a continuous supply of water without impurities. To use the water management system, users must configure the specific consumption allowed for the predetermined time or term for each user or facility in the residential or commercial environment. The system continuously monitors water flow and records the volume or weight of water consumed. When the water consumption regulator's meter determines that the preset limit has been reached, it automatically closes the valve, cutting off the water supply. The timer will reopen the valve and reset the meter to zero after the preset time has elapsed. According to the established schedule, the water consumption regulator will activate the valve at the defined time to allow a new water supply cycle, thus ensuring continuous access to water in accordance with the configured restrictions. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 shows a schematic of the water management system. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION. The present invention relates to a water management system. This system is characterized by comprising a water consumption regulator (1) consisting of a water meter (6), a timer, and a valve (2), which closes automatically once a predetermined amount of water has been consumed. This functionality is essential for controlling supply and limiting daily consumption. both in residential and commercial settings. The water consumption regulator (1) can be cooperatively integrated into the water meter (3) (which acts as a counter (6)) belonging to the water supply network (4). The different devices can communicate via wired or wireless means, and will generally include a power supply. In a preferred embodiment, the water consumption regulator (1) allows a specific water consumption to be assigned per day or preset time for each resident or statistically estimated individual in the facility. This feature underscores the system's ability to efficiently manage the water supply. ensuring equitable and sustainable use of water resources in different environments. The adjustment is made, for example, through a managing body, which could be the water supplier. Thus, if the number of residents in a dwelling increases, the specific consumption can be adjusted. The water consumption regulator (1) controls the closing of the valve (2) based on the level of consumption reached. This function allows the valve (2) to activate The system automatically opens at a predetermined time, facilitating a new water supply cycle. For example, it can reset every day at midnight. It can also be set to weekly, monthly, or even hourly or for a specific period (for example, in a changing room at a sports facility). A communication system, such as a wireless one, allows communication between the three elements. It is possible to install a screen that allows the user to see their current or remaining energy consumption over a preset time or period. The communication system also allows the measurement to be sent to an electronic device or a remote display in the home or business. Preferably, the water consumption regulator (1) includes a filter designed to prevent clogging, ensuring a continuous flow of impurity-free water. This contributes to the system's efficiency and reliability in regulating and maintaining the quality of the water supply. Generally, the water consumption regulator (1) is installed between the water meter (3) and the water inlet pipe (5) to the interior of the dwelling or facility. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
