Description

Drainage system in showers TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention relates to a drainage system for showers. It combines a mounting flange and a drain grate into a single unit, designed to be mounted on a standard valve. The system allows for a reduction in the thickness of the shower tray without decreasing the drainage slope or capacity, and also conceals the fixing screws. The invention applies to the sector of drainage and sanitation equipment for bathrooms, especially in shower trays of reduced thickness made of composite materials or other equivalent materials, compatible with standard 90 mm valves or similar. STATE OF THE ART It is known in the prior art that drainage systems exist that use a flange to fix a valve to the shower base (leaving the screws visible) and a grate. In practice, these elements are independent, each with its own housing. Therefore, the required height in the drainage area increases, necessitating an increase in the overall thickness of the shower tray to maintain the correct slope. There is no known system that integrates flange and grate into a single housing, reducing the overall height without compromising drainage or the slope of the tray. The applicant is unaware of any solution to these cited problems that could be considered similar to the invention. BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION The invention consists of a drainage system for showers or similar applications, according to the claims. Its various embodiments solve problems of the prior art and provide significant advantages. The shower drainage system is designed to be mounted on a drain valve. It comprises an annular flange, usually round or square, formed by an outer section on a first level and an inner recess on a second level, different from the first. The inner recess has holes (usually three, equidistant from each other) for the passage of screws that fix it to the valve. A grate, usually removable, is also located in the inner recess. It has the same shape as the inner recess but is slightly smaller so that it fits inside the outer section. This solution allows: • Reduce the required height in the drainage area. • Keep the plate sloped towards the valve. • Maintain the evacuation flow rate. • Improve the aesthetics by concealing the screws. • Reduce weight and material consumption. Ideally, the grid has a thickness less than or equal to the distance between the levels. A preferred version of the grid features concentric slots interrupted by four orthogonal axes. Other variations will be shown in the rest of the memory. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS For a better understanding of the invention, a section of drawings is included where the following has been represented: Figure 1: Perspective view of an example of exploded view. MODES OF REALIZING THE INVENTION Next, a brief description is given of one way of carrying out the invention, as an illustrative and non-limiting example. The embodiment shown comprises a flange (1) in the form of a circular ring. The flange (1) has an outer portion (11) on a first level and an inner recess (12) on a second level, different from the first, which in use is below the first level. A series of holes (13) in the inner recess (12) allow the passage of fixing screws to the valve. The outer diameter of the inner recess (12) is designed to be inserted into a hole in the shower floor or similar. A circular grate (2), smaller than the outer part (11) of the flange (1), rests in the inner recess (12). For proper drainage, it is preferable that the thickness of the grate (2) be less than the distance between the two levels of the flange (1), so as not to protrude above it. This position of the grate (2) allows the holes (13) to be covered so that they are not accessible to the user during use of the shower. The grid (2) shown features concentric slots interrupted by four orthogonal axes, providing rigidity and a suitable passage section. Preferably both the flange (1) and the grate (2) are made of stainless steel, for example, 1.5 mm thick. Optionally, both parts can have a non-slip coating.
