Description
BAG DISPENSER ATTACHABLE TO WASTE BINS OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a bag dispenser attachable to waste bins, designed to facilitate waste management by incorporating a set of bags inside, thus preventing the user from having to manually insert a new bag each time. This accessory allows for simple, quick, and efficient bag changes, providing a practical, adaptable, and easy-to-use solution for both domestic and professional environments. Currently, changing trash bags requires constant manual intervention, which is a waste of time and unnecessary effort, especially in places with high waste volumes such as offices, kitchens, or common areas. Furthermore, many users find it inconvenient to have to find a new bag every time they empty a full one, disrupting their routine and reducing efficiency. Another problem is the lack of a standard or universal system for seamlessly integrating multiple bags into a single waste bin. Most current models don't offer an organized method for bag replacement, leading to impractical waste management. This issue is exacerbated by unconventional shapes, such as round or rectangular bins, which further hinder efficient bag placement. Some current solutions consist of rigid supports or adapters, but these lack the flexibility to adjust to different shapes and sizes of waste bins and do not allow for a pre-filled bag system. Other products may include complex mechanisms that increase the cost and make them difficult for the average user to operate. Roll bag systems also exist, but these are not directly attached to the waste bin nor designed to adapt to different formats. The present invention has its field of application in the sector of waste treatment and articles for domestic and professional use. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In the prior art, there are known documents related to the proposed invention; however, none of them offer the advantages of this invention nor do they solve the aforementioned drawbacks in the same way. Thus, in document US 2006163257 A1, we find a waste bin with an open or closed bottom, a top opening for inserting waste, and an inner container. The inner container fits inside the bin and has an open top, a closed base, a surrounding wall extending from top to bottom, and at least one angled wall that supports a roll bag dispenser adjacent to a horizontal slot located a predetermined distance above the bottom of the container. Perforated and rolled garbage bags are pulled through the slot and opened to line the container. These bags may have a tape closure or handles and may be folded in half before being rolled into a star-sealed base. Hooks or handles on the top of the container or a surrounding rim secure the bag to the top of the inner container. The main drawback of this invention is its structural complexity, as it requires an additional internal container and more expensive manufacturing. Furthermore, it is not designed to adapt to waste bins of different sizes or shapes, unlike the proposed invention. On the other hand, in US patent 2010276428A1, we find a waste dispenser that includes a waste receptacle and a garbage bag container located at the bottom of the receptacle. The user can reach the bottom of the receptacle and pull the top bag of the container down to place it over the upper edge of the receptacle, forming a liner. The bag container can be slid into the bottom of the receptacle through a side opening in the side wall. Alternatively, the bag container can be detachably attached to the receptacle from below its lower end. The drawback of this invention lies in the need to manipulate the inside of the container to access the bags, which can be inconvenient or unhygienic. Furthermore, it is limited to a specific receptacle design, without considering universal adaptation to different types and sizes of waste bins. Another example is US patent 2005029281 A1, which describes a garbage bag dispenser that can be universally adapted to any container with a flat central base. The dispenser is also removable for replacing the bag roll and cleaning the container. It dispenses one bag at a time from a roll. The dispenser comprises a housing for holding the bag roll, which has a bottom, a vertical side wall, and a top with a bag dispensing opening; and a removable and reusable fastening strip that facilitates attaching and detaching the dispenser from the garbage container. Preferably, the fastening strips comprise self-adhesive hook-and-loop tapes, such as those marketed under the VELCRO brand. The main drawback of this design is that, although adaptable, it is attached using external elements such as Velcro strips, which can limit its durability, sturdiness, and aesthetics. Furthermore, since it is designed for the base of the container, its accessibility may not be practical in all cases, unlike the proposed system that attaches to the top of any waste bin. Although these and other documents present in the state of the art contain inventions related to the proposed invention, none provide an effective solution like the product that is intended to be protected, leaving the previously mentioned problems unresolved. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Thus, the present invention is constituted from the following elements: A garbage bag dispensing cylinder is fixed to the upper inside of a waste bin. Its ends are attached to rigid, telescopic segments that fit into the bin's edges. These segments can be coupled together at their ends and have fastening mechanisms for securing the garbage bags. Alternatively, the dispensing cylinder can incorporate a lid for the waste bin, which can be opened with a pedal, proving especially useful in cases where the waste bin does not have its own lid. In another embodiment, at least one rod extends from one end of the dispensing cylinder to the opposite end, its configuration being compatible with the edges of the waste bin. This rod rests on these edges once the bag is in place, improving its fixation and preventing it from detaching or shifting. In a different embodiment, inside the dispensing cylinder is a bag-holding mechanism consisting of two tabs, an upper and a lower one, positioned longitudinally with respect to the dispensing cylinder. Their length is the same as the opening of the dispensing cylinder, with the upper tab coinciding with the upper edge of the opening and the lower tab with the lower edge, thus allowing the bags to exit through the gap between them. These tabs have springs that extend to the inner surface of the dispensing cylinder and, at each end, upper and lower plates that extend to the outside of the dispensing cylinder, protruding from it. The upper and lower plates are joined by a locking and unlocking mechanism. At the edges where the tabs meet are protective pieces of smooth material that prevent the bags from tearing as they pass through the tabs. The user can then apply pressure to the upper and lower plates that protrude from each end of the dispensing cylinder. This presses the inner tabs together, closing the opening and preventing further bags from being dispensed. By applying pressure again to the plates with their fingers, the mechanism unlocks, the tabs separate, and the opening reopens for dispensing more bags. The invention is simple and practical to operate. The dispensing cylinder is installed inside the waste bin, and the rigid segments are placed on its edges. A bag is then removed from the cylinder, opened, and fitted around the rim of the waste bin, secured by the fastening mechanisms of the segments. Optionally, when an additional rod is incorporated, it is lowered onto the edges already covered by the bag, improving its hold and preventing shifting. These characteristics allow the proposed invention to provide a number of advantages, including the following: • Time savings in bag replacement. • Reduction of the physical effort required for waste management. • Easy to use, no technical knowledge required. • Adaptability to different formats and sizes of waste bins. • Compact and lightweight system, easy to install. • Improved organization and cleaning of home and work spaces.
