Description

HANDLE FOR SLIDING ENCLOSURES Technology sector The present invention relates to a handle for sliding enclosures. The term sliding enclosures refers to doors, windows and French doors that open by sliding the leaf on a guide. Background of the invention The most common type is the one that includes a lateral movement of the blade on the guide. The side opening of the sliding door can be operated in different ways, depending on the system installed. Most sliding doors open and close using a handle or grip whose rotation allows the door to be locked or unlocked to allow movement along the track. In the context of sliding enclosures, there was a strong need to create a handle that could not only move the leaf laterally along the track, but also allow for another relative movement of the leaf to permit micro-ventilation. Explanation of the invention This objective is fully achieved by means of a handle for sliding enclosures as indicated in independent claim 1. Other features of the present invention are described in the appended dependent claims. Brief description of the drawings The advantages of the present invention will be further made evident in the indicative and therefore non-limiting description of an embodiment of a handle for sliding enclosures as illustrated by way of example and therefore not by way of limitation in the drawings, in which: - Figure 1 schematically displays a sliding enclosure in which a handle is applied according to the present invention, in a closed condition of the enclosure; - Figure 2 is a schematic breakdown of Figure 1 with some parts omitted to better highlight others; - Figure 3 shows the handle of Figure 1 in a lateral opening condition of the tool; - Figure 4 shows the handle from Figure 1 in an open condition of the enclosure to obtain micro-ventilation. Preferred embodiment of the invention With reference to the attached figures, numerical reference 1 indicates a handle for sliding enclosures. The term sliding enclosures includes doors, windows and French doors without any limitation. With reference to a sliding enclosure, in the attached figures a fixed portion (2) and a movable portion (3) in which the handle (1) is installed have been represented. The handle (1) comprises a base body (4) connectable to a movable portion (3) of the enclosure by means of connection (14) for this purpose. The connection means (14) comprise a support plate (14a) intended to be connected to the movable portion (3) and one or more fastening elements (14b), for example, in the form of captives, from the base body (4) to the support plate (14a). In order to impart movement to the moving portion with respect to the fixed portion, on the inside of the enclosure there are operating mechanisms whose actuation is determined by a control rod (13) of the handle (1). Figure 2 shows the control rod (13) and the connection means (14). The handle (1) comprises a drive element (5) of the control rod connected to the base body (4) so that it can be rotated. The drive element (5) is configured to go through at least three different configurations, a first, a second and a third configuration, of which, once the first configuration is defined as the reference position, the second and third configurations can be achieved by a relative rotation of the drive element (5) with respect to the base body (4). The first, second, and third configurations are shown in figures 1, 3, and 4 respectively. The relative rotation between the first configuration and the second configuration, and vice versa, of the drive element (5) with respect to the base body (4) is 90°. The relative rotation between the second configuration and the third configuration, and vice versa, of the drive element (5) with respect to the base body (4) is 90°, therefore, the rotation between the first configuration and the third configuration, and vice versa, is 180°. The drive element (5) arranged according to the second configuration defines a handle lever (1) that can be gripped by the user, see figure 2. In fact, it is worth noting that, in accordance with the second configuration, the actuating element (5) imparts a lateral opening command of the movable portion (3) with respect to the fixed portion (2) of the enclosure, therefore, it performs a lever action to move the movable portion (3). According to the present description, in the third configuration, the actuating element (5) imparts an opening command to the movable portion (3) with respect to the fixed portion (2) of the enclosure to allow micro-ventilation, i.e., it imparts a forward displacement command to the movable portion (3) with respect to the fixed portion (2). The actuating element (5) is connected to a central portion (6) of the base body (4). The base body (4) comprises two parallel side walls (7) extending from the central portion (6) on opposite sides and in opposite directions. For example, once the handle (1) is installed, the arrangement of one side wall (7) could be identified in an upper portion of the handle (1) and the arrangement of the other side wall (7) in a lower portion of the handle (1). The side walls (7) are arranged opposite each other with respect to the central portion (6) of the handle (1). Each side wall (7) has a respective cavity (8), both configured to accommodate at least a part of the drive element (5) arranged in the first or third configuration, see figures 1 and 4. The drive element (5) arranged in a respective cavity (8) defines together with the side wall (7) of the base body (4) a handle or grip of the handle (1). This is because in the first and third configurations of the drive element (5), the handle (1) assumes a grip-type configuration. The cavity (8) is through-hole and the part of the drive element (5) intended to couple with it has a complementary shape such that it covers the entire cavity (8) defining a full side wall (7). The drive element (5) has a limb portion (9) superimposed on the central portion (6) from which an arm (10) extends, whose orientation is perpendicular to the limb portion (9). The arm (10) ends with a limb of greater size with respect to the dimension of the same arm (10). In particular, the cavity (8) of the side wall (7) has a shape complementary to the shape of the arm (10). The base body (4) comprises an upper wall (11) and a lower wall (12), both adjacent to a respective side wall (7). Each side wall (7) with its respective top wall (11) or bottom wall (12) defines an "L" shape.
