MODULAR SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING TOOLS, TOOLS OR SIMILAR ITEMS, CLAMPING TOOL SET INCLUDING IT AND WORK STRUCTURE INCORPORATING IT

Abstract

The present invention relates to a modular system for positioning tooling, implements, or similar items, which allows for the fixing, positioning, and orientation in space of said tooling, implements, or similar items to ensure their correct location and orientation during the performance of their function. This modular system comprises positioning pieces with at least two degrees of freedom for adjusting the position of the tooling or implement, and may also include one or more auxiliary pieces for connecting to the reference structure, allowing for up to six degrees of freedom of adjustment and thus enabling the application of clamping forces perpendicular to the workpieces being held. All of this creates a flexible, modular, self-assembling, and reusable system, without the need to create specific elements that, outside of the specific application, cannot be reused.
