Abstract

A laser cleaning machine for anilox rolls (3) incorporates, integrated into the same mobile carriage (4) that houses the laser resonator, a reading device (10) for the roll surface capable of generating a three-dimensional map of the cells. The integration is achieved by means of two complementary actuators: a first actuator (6) that positions the laser head (7) at the appropriate focal distance and a second actuator (9) that moves the reading device (10) to the roll surface via a stabilizing element (11). This arrangement allows alternating between cleaning and inspection at the same level of the roll without longitudinal movement of the carriage, resulting in a more compact machine with the possibility of sequential processing of multiple rolls. The machine includes a redundant anti-collision system, roller position detection means independent of the anti-collision system, and a traceability system with history by individual roller.
