A structure for aligning a biometrically authorized smart card with respect to a smartphone during biometric smart card registration, the structure comprising: a smart card area for receiving the smart card; and a guide for aligning the structure in a predetermined position with respect to the smartphone, wherein the alignment structure is configured such that, when the smart card is received in the smart card area and the structure is aligned in the predetermined position with respect to the smartphone, the smart card is close to a near-field communication antenna of the smartphone so that the smart card receives power from the antenna.
