SELF-CONTAINED SMOKE GENERATOR UNIT FOR INTRUDER DETERRENCE

Abstract

It comprises a smoke-generating device (1) that produces smoke through the deflagration of a pyrotechnic charge (8) made of a chemical composition activated by an initiator (7) connected to electrical contacts or terminals that receive an electric current from an electronic board powered by an electrical energy source. The smoke-generating device (1) includes an enclosing housing (4) that contains the pyrotechnic charge (8) and several filters that prevent sparks and the expulsion of impurities when the device (1) is activated. Inside the device (1) is an intermediate expansion and compression chamber (15) to act in the event of an accidental discharge of the pyrotechnic charge (8). The equipment of the invention can be used in both small, fixed enclosures and mobile enclosures, such as transport vehicles, etc.
