Abstract

Ibudilast as a neuroprotective agent in patients in the early stages of Parkinson's disease. The present invention describes ibudilast for use as a neuroprotective medicament for the prevention and / or treatment of Parkinson's disease in a subject, preferably human, at an early stage of Parkinson's disease. It also includes the composition comprising the ibudilast and the method for selecting therapeutic agents useful in the treatment and / or prevention of Parkinson's disease in a human subject at an early stage of Parkinson's disease.
