Abstract

The battery block, in one example, comprises: a cell array comprising several prismatic cells arranged in a row; a pair of side plates arranged respectively on the two sides of the cell array; and a pair of terminal plates arranged respectively at the front and rear of the cell array, wherein the two ends of the terminal plates in the width direction are fixed to side supports provided at the two ends of the side plates in the longitudinal direction, and the cell array is joined into a single block by the interconnection between the terminal plates and the side plates.
