Abstract
Description
Lighter clamping device The invention relates to a lighter holder device with a fixing eyelet that allows a lighter to be attached by means of said device, for example, to a pendant or to the chain of a bag or the like. The lighters that exist until now have the disadvantage that they are difficult to handle when, for example, a user has to look for their lighter in their pocket or wants to take it out of a jacket or pants pocket. For example, US patent 2013 / 0213416 A1 describes a device with a cigarette lighter holder. The holder has two arms extending from a central point and curved in opposite directions to generally form opposing gripping surfaces. The distance between the gripping surfaces can be adjusted by means of an adjustment knob that the user can rotate. The holder is connected to a fastening means that can be attached to the user's clothing by means of a flexible, extendable cord, such that the fastening means and the holder can rotate relative to each other. Document KR 101 574 861 B1 describes an ignition device that provides protection against burns. The ignition device comprises an actuating element and a fastening means. The fastening means consists of an annular elastic band that can be placed around a cigarette lighter. The actuating element is attached to the fastening means and extends upward from one side of it, so that by pressing the actuating element with the thumb, the ignition roller of the cigarette lighter can be rotated. US Patent 648891 S describes a design for a decorative lighter clip. The design comprises a U-shaped bracket capable of holding a cigarette lighter. The U-shaped bracket contains a recess capable of attaching one end of a rod-like structure. At the other end of the structure is a clip to which a cigarette can be attached. US patent 2004 / 089759 A1 describes a device for securing an object, comprising a plastic ring that can be placed around the object. The plastic ring is secured by a clamping device that is connected to a retraction element by a cord. The cord can be wound and unwound on the retraction element, so that the distance between the object and the retraction element is variable. US patent 2024 / 0068663 A1 describes an attachable lighter holder comprising a silicone or rubber body with perforated openings. The lighter holder is designed to be attached around a lighter. Additionally, a fastening element, made of a silicone or rubber-like material, is formed within the silicone or rubber body and protrudes from it. During use, the protruding portion of the fastening element can be inserted into an opening in a clog to secure the lighter holder to the shoe. However, the lighter holder has the drawback of encasing the lighter and thus obscuring any printed advertising messages. Furthermore, the elastic silicone or rubber body can easily tear or wear out, potentially causing the lighter to fall out of the holder. The fastening element, made of a similar silicone or rubber material, can also break easily during use. The objective of the invention is to provide a lighter clamping device that allows for better handling of the lighter in daily use. This task is accomplished by means of a lighter clamping device with the features indicated in claim 1, as well as by means of a lighter with the features indicated in claim 10. Advantageous embodiments and variants of the invention are described in the dependent claims. The invention provides a lighter clamping device intended to be attached to a lighter, in particular a Clipper® lighter, wherein the lighter has a body with an upper end, in which the lighter flame can be generated, in particular by means of an ignition mechanism, and a lower end, the lower end of the lighter body being preferably designed to be refillable, wherein the lighter clamping device comprises: - a fixing ring, in particular a dimensionally stable fixing ring, having a fixing contour designed so as to allow the fixing ring to be fixed to a section, in particular only to a section of the lower end or only to a section of the upper end of the lighter body, - wherein at least one additional fixing eyelet is formed in the fixing ring, which, for example, projects outwards from the lighter body when the fixing ring is fixed to the lighter body, and where the fixing ring has at least one crossbar, which extends between the fixing ring, and where said crossbar forms one of the fixing eyelets. The lighter holder has the advantage of attaching only to part of the lighter's body, thus not obscuring the entire lighter or any printing, particularly advertising. Furthermore, the protruding loop allows for the easy attachment of accessories such as a lanyard or chain, enabling the lighter to be secured to clothing, a bag, or other item. In addition, a lighter with said lighter clamping device is provided. According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing ring is designed with the thinnest possible thickness so that the largest possible surface area of the lighter body remains unobstructed by the lighter holder and its fixing ring, and furthermore, the fixing ring is sufficiently stable to prevent unintentional breakage during use. The thickness of the fixing ring is preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm, and in particular between 1 mm and 2 mm. In another embodiment of the invention, the fixing contour of the fixing ring corresponds to the outer contour of the lighter body section to which the fixing ring can be attached by means of its fixing contour. In this way, the fixing ring can be securely fitted and held onto the lighter body, preventing it from coming loose unintentionally. The fixing contour of the fixing ring is, for example, a circular fixing contour that fits the circular outer contour of a section of the lighter body, in particular a section of the lower end of said body, specifically the lower end of the body of a Clipper® lighter. In an unclaimed embodiment, the fixing contour of the fixing ring is, for example, a composite fixing contour, for example, formed by a circular section and a C- or U-shaped section, according to an outer contour of a section of the lighter body, in particular a section located between the lower and upper ends of the lighter body, in particular a section located between the lower and upper ends of the body of a Clipper® lighter. According to one embodiment of the invention, the crossbar extends between the centrally shaped fixing ring. According to one embodiment of the invention, the at least one crossbar has an additional annular section through which a refillable lighter can be filled with lighter fuel when the lighter clamping device is mounted on the lighter, the annular section of the crossbar being preferably arranged in the center of the fixing ring, and a first section of the crossbar being attached to one end of the fixing ring and to the annular section to form a first fixing eyelet, and a second section of the crossbar being attached to another end, in particular to the opposite end of the fixing ring and to the annular section to form the second fixing eyelet, and wherein the annular section is preferably configured as a third fixing eyelet. According to one embodiment of the invention, the first and second fixing eyelet are the same size, or the second fixing eyelet is larger than the first. According to an unclaimed embodiment of the invention, a fixing eyelet is formed on the outer circumference of the fixing ring, in particular an annular fixing eyelet and, preferably, a fixing eyelet in the form of a circular ring. According to one embodiment of the invention, the lighter holder has a domed shape. In particular, the fixing ring and / or the at least one fixing eyelet have a domed shape. According to one embodiment of the invention, the lighter holder is made of at least one metal, at least one metal alloy, and / or at least one plastic. The at least one plastic is, for example, a thermoplastic, such as polypropylene. According to one embodiment of the invention, the lighter clamping device is manufactured as an injection-molded part from at least one plastic. According to one embodiment of the invention, the lighter is a refillable lighter and, in particular, a Clipper® lighter. From the illustrative explanation of the invention, based on the figures, other advantageous features of the same emerge. In the description of the figures that follows, identical or similar components are assigned the same reference. Figures 1 to 10 show different views of a first embodiment of a lighter clamping device 1 according to the invention, which in Figures 1 to 6 is attached to a lighter 2, preferably a Clipper® lighter. The lighter 2 in Figures 1 to 6 has a lighter body 3 in which the lighter fuel is stored. The mechanism of the lighter 2, designed to generate the flame, is mounted at the upper end 4 of the lighter body 3. The lower end 5 of the lighter body 3 is closed when the lighter 2 is not refillable, or it is designed to be resealable in the case of the refillable Clipper® lighter, in order to refill the lighter body 3 with fuel. As shown in Figures 1 to 6, the lighter holder 1 is attached to a section of the lower end 5 of the lighter body 3. For this purpose, the lighter holder 1 is fitted and pressed into the lower end 5 of the body 3. The lighter body 3 has a circular cross-section or a circular outer contour at its lower end 5, onto which the lighter holder 1 can be fitted and secured so that it cannot be unintentionally detached from the lighter body 3. The lighter holder 1 consists of a fixing ring 6 with, for example, two fixing eyelets 7, 8 (in this case, a larger and a smaller one) that protrude outwards from the fixing ring for attaching, for example, a pendant, etc.The fixing ring 6 has a fixing contour that corresponds to the fixing contour of the section of the lighter body 3 to which the fixing ring 6 is to be attached. This section is, for example, the one located at the lower end of the lighter body, where the fixing ring 6 is secured by its fixing contour. To do this, the fixing ring 6 is fitted with its fixing contour onto this section of the lower end of the lighter body 3 and secured so that it remains fixed and cannot be unintentionally detached from the lighter during use. The corresponding attachment holes 7 and 8, which project outwards from the lighter and the attachment ring, respectively, can be fitted with accessories such as a hook, carabiner, pocket clip, key ring, etc., ribbon, cord, chain, and / or rope, etc., to secure the lighter 2 with its lighter attachment device 1, for example, to an item of clothing, such as a belt loop on trousers, a jacket, a shoelace, a handbag strap, a handbag charm, a mobile phone chain, etc. The examples mentioned are merely illustrative, and the invention is not limited to them. The attachment holes 7 and 8 project longitudinally outwards from the lighter body 3. In other words, the attachment holes 7 and 8 project longitudinally from the lower end of the lighter outwards. Thus, for example, lighter 2 cannot be lost in a pocket, but can be attached to or inside it using lighter holder 3 and, for example, a lanyard or chain, etc. Lighter 2 can then be easily removed from the pocket using lighter holder 1 without, for example, accidentally igniting it, since lighter holder 1 is only attached to the lower end 5 of lighter 2, particularly in Clipper® lighters with their circular cross-section, and not to the upper end where the mechanical parts, i.e., the lighter's flame-generating mechanism, are located. Lighter holder 1 also has the advantage that any markings, particularly advertising, etc., on lighter 2 are not obscured by the holder 1.To achieve this, the thickness of the retaining ring 6 has been designed to be as thin as possible, so that it only covers the smallest possible section of the lighter body, leaving, for example, the advertising prints on the lighter body exposed. At the same time, the thickness of the retaining ring 6 is sufficient to prevent it from breaking or tearing unintentionally during use. The fixing ring 6 and the two fixing eyelets 7, 8, according to the first and second embodiments described below, are formed as a single piece, for example, from at least one metal, at least one metal alloy, and / or at least one plastic, e.g., a thermoplastic, and in particular, polypropylene. For example, the fixing ring 6 with its fixing eyelets 7, 8 can be manufactured as an injection-molded part from at least one plastic. Similarly, the fixing ring 6 and its fixing eyelets 7, 8, manufactured from at least one metal or at least one metal alloy, can optionally be coated or injection-molded with a layer of plastic. The plastic can be, for example, a recycled plastic, such as polypropylene (PP), preferably recycled polypropylene (PP), in particular PP C4200 90 / 04 from Albis, etc. However, any other suitable plastic or combination of plastics can also be used. As shown in Figures 1 to 6, the fixing ring 6, adapted to the lower end 5 of the lighter 2, in particular the Clipper® lighter, and its circular outer contour, is consequently also in the shape of a circular ring, so that it can fit and be fixed firmly enough to the lower end 5, so that the lighter clamping device 1, with its fixing ring 6, cannot be unintentionally released during use. In the first embodiment of the lighter clamping device 1, as shown in Figures 1 to 10, the fixing ring 6 has at least one crossbar 9. The crossbar 9 extends between the fixing ring 6, preferably in its center. In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 8, the crossbar 9 has an annular section 10 in its center for filling the lighter 2, provided that the lighter 2 is designed to be refillable. Thus, a first section of the crossbar 11 extends between one end of the fixing ring 6 and the annular section 10, forming a first fixing loop 8, in this case the smaller fixing loop. A second section of the crossbar 12, located between the opposite end of the fixing ring 6 and the annular section 10, forms a second fixing loop 7, in this case a larger fixing loop.To this end, the second cross-section 12 curves further outwards than the rest of the crossbar 9, with its first cross-section 11 and the annular section 10, and thus forms the larger of the two fixing eyelets 7, 8. This has the advantage that, for example, larger pendants, etc., can be attached to the larger fixing eyelet 7 rather than the smaller fixing eyelet 8. It is conceivable that the annular section 10 could be provided for or used as a third fixing eyelet when attached to a disposable lighter, which is consequently designed not to be refillable. The crossbar 9 with the annular section 10 is bulged outwards, so that the fixing ring 6 can be fitted, held and / or hooked onto the lower end 5 of the lighter 2 and, in particular, a little beyond the lower end 5, allowing it to be fixed especially well to the lighter 2. The annular section 10 of the crossbar 9 is preferably located in the center, above the fixing ring 6, so that a refillable lighter 2 can be filled with lighter fuel through the annular section 10 of the lighter clamping device 1. In principle, it is also possible to do without the annular section 10. In that case, the crossbar 9 would form only a single fixing eyelet. In the case of Clipper® lighters, there are two sizes. The largest Clipper® lighter has a lower end 5 with an outer diameter of DA-Feuerzeug = 16 mm. The height of the Clipper® lighter is, for example, 74 mm. Therefore, the lighter clamping device 1 corresponding to this size of Clipper® lighter has the following dimensions: - Outer diameter of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF = 20 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF is between 19 mm and 21 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF = 17 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF is within the range of 16 mm to 17 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Mounting ring thickness 6 dBF = 1 mm to 2 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Crossbar thickness 9 dS = 3 mm; preferably, the crossbar thickness 9 dS is in the range of 2 mm to 3 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Outer diameter of the annular section 10 DA-R = 8.30 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the annular section 10 DA-R is in the range of 8 mm to 9 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the annular section 10 DI-R = 5 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the annular section 10 DI-R is within a range of 4 mm to 6 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Height of lighter clamping device 1 to annular section 10 hR = 8 mm; preferably, the height of lighter clamping device 1 to annular section 10 hR is in the range of 7 mm to 9 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Total height of lighter clamping device 1 HG = 11.75 mm; preferably, the total height of lighter clamping device 1 HG is in the range of 10 mm to 13 mm, or in particular 10 mm to 12 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm. The values and ranges mentioned for the various dimensions are merely illustrative and the invention is not limited to them. In particular, the inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 is adapted so that the lighter clamping device can be fitted, clamped and / or hooked onto the lower end of the lighter. This applies to all embodiments of the invention. The width of the crossbar and the size of the respective fixing eyelet may vary depending on the function and intended use. This also applies to all embodiments of the invention. The smallest Clipper® lighter has a lower end 5 with an outer diameter of DA-Feuerzeug = 14 mm. The height of the Clipper® lighter is, for example, 63 mm. Consequently, the lighter clamping device 1 corresponding to this size of Clipper® lighter has the following dimensions: - Outer diameter of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF = 17.2 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF is between 16 mm and 18 mm, or more preferably between 17 mm and 18 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF = 14.4 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF is within a range of 14 mm to 14.4 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Mounting ring thickness 6 dBF = 1-2 mm, including all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Crossbar thickness 9 dS = 2.6 mm; preferably, the crossbar thickness 9 dS is between 2 mm and 3 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Outer diameter of the annular section 10 DA-R = 7.2 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the annular section 10 DA-R is between 7 mm and 8 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the annular section 10 DI-R = 4.3 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the annular section 10 DI-R is between 4 mm and 5 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Height of lighter clamping device 1 to annular section 10 hR = 6.9 mm; preferably, the height of lighter clamping device 1 to annular section 10 hR is between 6 mm and 8 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm. - Total height of lighter clamping device 1 HG = 10.1 mm; preferably, the total height of lighter clamping device 1 HG is between 9 mm and 11 mm, or in particular between 10 mm and 11 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm. Figures 11, 12 and 13 show different views of a lighter clamping device 1 according to a variant of the first embodiment of the lighter clamping device 1 of the invention, as shown in Figures 1 to 10. The lighter clamping device variant 1 shown in Figures 11, 12 and 13 differs from lighter clamping device 1 according to the first embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 to 10, in that the two fixing eyelets 7 and 8 are the same size. In other words, the crossbar 9 has the annular section 10 for filling the lighter in the center, provided the lighter is designed to be refillable. Thus, a first section of the crossbar 11 extends between one end of the fixing ring 6 and the annular section 10, forming a first fixing eyelet 8. A second section of the crossbar 12, located between the opposite end of the fixing ring 6 and the annular section 10, forms a second fixing eyelet 7. The crossbar 9, with its two crossbar sections 11 and 12 and the annular section 10 positioned between them, curves outwards, for example, into a floor, and forms two fixing eyelets 7 and 8 of the same size.In this case, the annular section 10 can be used not only for refilling a refillable lighter 2, but, as with the lighter holder 1 shown in Figures 1 to 10, it can also serve as a third fixing eyelet when the lighter holder 1 is attached to a disposable lighter. Consequently, the embodiments relating to the lighter holder 1 shown in Figures 1 to 10 also apply to the variant shown in Figures 11 to 13. In the variant shown in Figures 11 to 13, the annular section 10 can also be omitted, particularly when the lighter 2 is a disposable lighter. The dimensions of the lighter clamping device variant 1 according to Figures 11 to 13 are identical to those of the lighter clamping device 1 according to Figures 1 to 10, except for the total height HG of the lighter clamping device 1. In this variant, this height is equal to the height of the lighter clamping device 2 up to the annular section 10 hR. Therefore, in the example shown, HG = hR = 2 mm. Figures 14 to 18 show different views of a second embodiment of a lighter clamping device 1 not included in the invention, which is fixed to the lighter shown above with reference to Figures 1 to 6, in this case a Clipper® lighter. Unlike the first embodiment and its variant according to figures 1 to 13, the lighter clamping device 1 according to the second embodiment has, for example, a flat shape, in particular completely flat, and is not convex. The fixing ring 6 of the lighter clamping device 1 has, instead of a circular fixing contour, a composite fixing contour, in this case, for example, formed by a circular section 13 and a C- or U-shaped section, conforming to the outer contour of a section of the lighter body, for example, a section located between the lower and upper ends of a lighter body, in particular a section located between the lower and upper ends of a Clipper® lighter body, as shown in Figures 1-6 and 14-18. The retaining ring 6 can be fitted and secured by its retaining contour, as shown in Figures 14 to 16, onto the corresponding section of the lighter body 3 that has the appropriate outer contour, thus securing it in place. The corresponding section of the lighter body 3 is located, for example, at the upper end, below the lighter mechanism, as shown in Figures 14 to 16. Furthermore, on the outer perimeter of the fixing ring 6, for example, in its circular section 13, a fixing eyelet 17 is formed, for example, an annular section and, in particular, a circular section 18, as shown in the embodiment in Figures 14 to 16. The fixing eyelet 17 projects outwards from the fixing ring 6, in particular transversely to the longitudinal axis of the lighter 2. The fixing eyelet 17 forms a plane with the fixing ring 6. Therefore, the lighter clamping device, comprising the fixing ring 6 and the fixing eyelet 17, is flat, in particular completely flat. However, it is also possible for the fixing eyelet 17 to be arranged at an angle to the fixing ring 6. As described above, there are two sizes of Clipper® lighters. The largest Clipper® lighter features a lower end 5 with an outer diameter of DA-Feuerzeug = 16 mm. Therefore, the lighter clamping device 1 corresponding to this size of Clipper® lighter has the following dimensions: - Outer diameter of the circular section 13 of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF = 20 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF is between 19 mm and 21 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the circular section 13 of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF = 16.7 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF is within a range of 16 mm to 16.7 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Thickness of the 6 dBF fixing ring = 3 mm; preferably, the thickness of the dBF fixing ring is between 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm. - Outer diameter of the 18 DA-R circular fixing eyelet = 8.3 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the 18 DA-R circular fixing eyelet is between 7 mm and 9 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm. - Inner diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DI-R = 5 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DA-R is in the range of 4 mm to 6 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Length of fixing ring 6 to the center of the circular fixing eyelet 18 LBF = 28 mm; preferably, the length of the fixing eyelet LBF is within a range of 27 mm to 29 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm The smallest Clipper® lighter has a lower end with an outer diameter of DA-Feuerzeug = 14 mm. Therefore, the corresponding lighter clamp for this size Clipper® lighter has the following dimensions: - Outer diameter of the circular section 13 of the fixing ring 6 DA-BF = 17.24 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the circular section DA-BF is in the range of 19 mm to 21 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the circular section 13 of the fixing ring 6 DI-BF = 14.4 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the circular section DI-BF is within a range of 14 mm to 14.4 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Thickness of the 6 dBF fixing ring = 2.58 mm; preferably, the thickness of the 6 dBF fixing ring is within a range of, for example, 2 mm to 3 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Outer diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DA-R = 7.15 mm; preferably, the outer diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DA-R is within a range of, for example, 6.5 mm to 7.5 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Inner diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DI-R = 4.31 mm; preferably, the inner diameter of the circular fixing eyelet 18 DI-R is within a range of, for example, 4 mm to 5 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm - Length of fixing ring 6 to the center of circular fixing eyelet 18 LBF = 26.35 mm; preferably, the length of fixing ring 6 to the center of circular fixing eyelet 18 LBF is within a range of, for example, 25.5 mm to 27 mm, inclusive of all intermediate values in increments of 0.01 mm Regarding the material, composed of at least one metal, at least one metal alloy and / or at least one plastic, the above considerations referring to figures 1 to 13 apply, which are not repeated for the embodiment according to figures 14 to 18. The present invention is not limited to the examples of embodiments of a lighter clamping device shown in Figures 1 to 18. The invention is defined by the claims.
