A variable and intelligent signaling device for vehicle restraint systems comprising a housing (2) containing at least one electronic board (12). The housing (2) comprises at least one rear surface (3) configured to be attached to a restraint barrier, and a front surface (4) opposite it, from which two oblique surfaces (5) extend. At least one of these oblique surfaces (5) comprises a passive safety element (6) and at least one active safety element (7). The passive safety element (6) is a reflective element, and the active safety element (7) is selected from a light emitter, a sensor, or a camera.
