Abstract
A method for monitoring a wind turbine blade, implemented during its transport to the wind farm where it will be installed, comprises the stages of continuously acquiring, via sensors (2, 3, 4) operatively coupled to the blade, data on vibrations, blade tilt relative to a horizontal position, and acceleration, with each data point associated with the spatiotemporal moment at which it is captured. The data is processed in real time to detect if risk thresholds that could affect the blade's integrity have been exceeded. The system generates routine alerts at regular intervals, and if an anomaly occurs, an alert is generated immediately. The alerts can be downloaded at the destination or, preferably, sent to a web platform controlled by the monitoring service provider, which stores them in a secure environment and forwards them to a final recipient.
