Abstract

Peripheral electronic device for programming quantum circuits. Electronic peripheral device (1) connectable to a traditional or quantum computer (9) for programming quantum circuits, with a housing that contains: several keys (8, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76) representing different quantum gates and functions, and a delete key (8) to remove gates from the circuit, a joystick (5) that allows horizontal and vertical movements in a matrix of circuits and rotations to adjust the phase of the quantum gates, and a control circuit (2) configured to translate the movements of the joystick (5) and the key presses into commands that it sends to the computer (9) through the connector (3), which is a USB connector through which the peripheral device (1) is also powered.This peripheral device (1) improves the efficiency and accuracy in the development of complex algorithms by allowing the user to intuitively access and modify quantum circuits to take full advantage of the potential of quantum programming.
