Abstract

System and method for recycling plastic waste. The present invention relates to a recycling system for a volume of waste comprising plastics, in particular, waste from packaging comprising plastics, and more specifically, from cardboard food packaging comprising plastics. The present invention also relates to a method of recycling such a volume of waste comprising plastic using said recycling system. Thus, the present invention is directed to the recycling process of waste comprising plastic and other elements, such as metals, for example, aluminum, for subsequent use. In particular, this waste recycling process is suitable for waste of the type of cardboard food packaging comprising plastics, as well as the materials mentioned.
