The present invention generally relates to medicinal plants composition effective in healing of epilepsy. The syrup composition comprises hydro-alcoholic or aqueous extracts derived from the roots of Mandraca, the fruits of Gardenia ternifolia, and the leaves of Ajuga integrifolia, combined with a pharmacetutically acceptable sweetening syrup vehicle, stabilizing agents, and preservatives.Method of treating epilepsy comprising administering to a subject in need thereof ዉ therapeutically effective amount of the medicinal plants composition of the present invention.The invention further provides a scalable process for preparing the standardized botanical extract blend and formulating it into an orally deliverable liquid dosage form with improved bio-accessibility, taste masking, and extended shelf-life.
