Automatic Flood Detection and Water Redirection System for Irrigation

Abstract

According to the invention thlti-level water sensors and the gravity-fed underground redirection pipe with multi-stage filtration chamber are arranged in a cooperating manner in such a way that rising flood water is detected progressively, redirected away from dw llings, filtered, and delivered for irrigation on time. A flood management system fitted with such elements makes it possible for the first time to protect riverine communities automatically while converting flood water into a productive agricultural resource with minimal energy input.
