Device for changing fabric in a web forming machine

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for changing fabric into a web forming machine. The device comprises a two-part frame, in which a wheel (31) is connected to the first part (10) of the frame and at least two rollers (41, 42, 43) are connected to the second part (20). The device further comprises rotating means for rotating one of these. The wheel (31) has a gas-pressurized ring that is in contact with at least one of the rollers (41, 42, 43), the device being adapted to create a gap between the first part (10) of the frame and the second part (20) of the frame and to transfer the fabric into the web forming machine between the wheel (31) and the at least two rollers (41, 42, 43).
