A mounting profile, a partition structure, and a method for attaching a building board to a receiving structure of a partition structure

Abstract

According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a mounting profile (100) for attaching a building board (300) to a frame member (200) of a partition structure (1000). The mounting profile (100) includes a web (120), flanges (110, 140), and a flexing section (130). The web (120) forms a mounting surface that extends in a first cartesian dimension (X) and in a second cartesian dimension (Y) to receive the building board (300). The flanges (110, 140) extend either in a third Cartesian dimension (Z) for embracing the frame member (200) between the flanges (110) or in the first Cartesian dimension (X) for butt attachment to the frame member (200) or both in the first and third Cartesian dimension (X, Z) for attachment to the frame member (200). The flexing section (130) joins the flanges (110) to the web (120) and allows for elastic deformation of the mounting profile (100) in the third Cartesian dimension (Z) to elastically suspend the building board (300) in respect to the frame member (200).
