Description
The present invention relates to a cut for making a reinforced tray for fruits and vegetables, this tray being of the traditional type made of a single piece of cardboard blank, cut and grooved. We already know of cuts of this type, namely the one which is the subject of the main patent application no. 086 03402. Indeed, the cutting according to the invention described in this main patent application no. 086 03402, consists of a cardboard blank, cut and grooved, in the form of a single piece comprising all the parts intended to form the bottom and the vertical walls as well as the sealing parts of the container, reinforcements being fixed on said blank when it is extended flat in a horizontal plane before the shaping of the container to be formed. This results in a die-cut made from a single piece, with reinforcements fixed flat to the cardboard blank. This die-cut can be handled and transported flat and only shaped at the time of use by simple folding and sealing. The present invention aims to apply this principle of fixing reinforcements to traditional cardboard cutouts intended to form fruit and vegetable trays consisting of a parallelepiped container whose upper opening is fitted with a return. To this end, the present invention relates to a cut whose parts intended to form the transverse vertical walls of the container have, in the vicinity of each of their folding beginnings intended to form the vertical edges of the container, reinforcements made of wooden elements with a triangular section. The method for assembling the cutouts according to the invention is the same as that described in the main patent application and is therefore not the subject of the present improvement. Other achievements and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description that follows and by referring to the single attached figure representing a plan view of an embodiment of the cut according to the invention. The cutting according to the invention represented in figure 1 consists of a cardboard cutout, for example corrugated cardboard, bearing the general reference 1 and which is made in one piece by cutting from a rectangular cardboard plane. The cut (1) includes a central part (2) intended to form the bottom of the container to be formed, two parts (3) forming the longitudinal vertical walls, two parts (4) forming the transverse vertical walls and two parts (5) forming the two returns of the container to be formed. Each part (4) also has sealing tabs (6) allowing parts (3) to be joined to parts (4) after the container has been formed when parts (3) and (4) are stretched perpendicularly to the bottom (2). Each part (5) has folding tabs (7) allowing the parts (5) to be linked to the parts (4), each of the parts (5) having once the shaping of the cut has been carried out, a protruding element (8) which fits into the corresponding hole (9) of a superimposed plate, this hole (9) being made in each part (4) of the cut. This combination of protruding element (8) and holes (9) achieves what is called the bracing of the stacked trays. Finally, the two parts (4) intended to form the transverse vertical walls of the container have, in the vicinity of each of their folding beginnings (10) intended to form the vertical edges of the container, reinforcement uprights (11) made of wooden elements with a triangular section. These reinforcements or uprights (11) are of equal dimension to the width of each of the parts (4 > and are fixed to them by stapling before shaping the cut when the different parts (2,3,4,5) of the cut (1) extend flat in the same plane. These reinforcements or uprights (11) are preferably fixed by stapling but may also be fixed by gluing, nailing or any other suitable means. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and illustrated herein, but numerous modifications can be made to it without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, the cut (1) as described is of different dimensions depending on the types of trays to be made.
Claims
DEMANDS 1) Cutting according to claim 1 of main patent application no. 86 03402 for the production of a reinforced tray for fruits and vegetables and which is of the type consisting of a cut and grooved cardboard blank (1) in the form of a single piece comprising all the parts (2,3,4,5,6,7) intended to form the base, the vertical walls and the return of the container, characterized in that the two parts (4) intended to form the transverse vertical walls of the container have in the vicinity of each of their folding starts (10) intended to form the vertical edges of the container, reinforcements (11), said reinforcements (11) being fixed on said blank (1) when the latter is stretched flat in a horizontal plane before the shaping of the container to be formed. 2) Cut according to claim 1, characterized in that said reinforcements (11) are of equal dimension to the width of each of the parts (4). 3) Cutting according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said reinforcements (11) are made up of wooden elements of triangular section.
