Description

The main patent describes a liposuction cannula comprising a tube, one end of which is intended to be connected to suction means, and the other end of which has an opening intended to be inserted into a part of the body to be treated. This tube has at its rear end a nozzle whose outer surface is shaped to be connected to a flexible tube linked to a suction pump. This nozzle has an internal channel coaxial with and communicating with the tube. This internal channel is shaped to fit by insertion into the outlet of a suction syringe. According to a preferred version, the nozzle has an outer surface extending around the tube and shaped into a gripping handle. Thus, thanks to the internal channel of the tip, the cannula can be connected to a standard commercially available suction syringe, such as a disposable one. In addition, thanks to the removable tube, different tubes with different lengths and / or cross-sections can be connected to the handle, well suited to each type of intervention. The single attached figure, given by way of non-limiting example 1, is a view with partial longitudinal section and tear-out of a liposuction cannula conforming to the present addition. The liposuction cannula, preferably made of transparent plastic, comprises a tube 21, one end of which is intended to be connected to suction means and the other end has an opening and is intended to be inserted into a part of the body to be treated. The tube 21 has at its rear end a handle 20 whose outer surface is shaped to be connected to a flexible hose connected to a suction pump. This handle has an internal conduit 20a coaxial with and communicating with tube 21. This internal conduit 20a terminates at the rear with a frustoconical surface designed to fit by insertion onto the outlet tip of an aspiration syringe. In accordance with this addition, the tube 21 is removably fixed by fitting it to the front end 22 of the handle 20. For this purpose, the end of the tube 21 adjacent to the handle 20 includes a smooth frustoconical surface 24 coaxial with the tube 21 and narrowing towards the outside of the tube, this frustoconical surface 24 fitting into a complementary frustoconical surface 23 provided in the handle 20 coaxially with the internal conduit 20a of the latter. Of course, the conicity of the frustoconical surfaces 23 and 24 is chosen so that they can not only fit into each other but also produce a mutual self-locking effect. The main technical advantages provided by the liposuction cannula according to this addition, compared to that described in the main patent, are as follows: Because it is removable, tube 21 can be discarded after each use. This simplifies the cleaning and sterilization of the entire cannula assembly. The practitioner can therefore use a new tube with guaranteed sterility for each procedure. When the tube 21 is detached from the handle 20, the latter and in particular its internal conduit 20a is easy to clean, in particular because of the presence at each end of a frustoconical surface flared outwards. This handle can accommodate 22 different tubes at its end, in particular of different lengths and / or cross-sections adapted to each type of intervention. Claims

DEMANDS 1. Liposuction cannula according to any one of claims 2 to 10 of the main patent, characterized in that the tube (21) is removably fixed to the front end (22) of the handle (20).

Liposuction cannula according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the end of the tube adjacent to the handle (20) comprises a smooth frustoconical surface (24) coaxial with the tube (21) and narrowing outwards from the latter1, this frustoconical surface (24) fitting into a complementary frustoconical surface (23) formed in the handle (20) coaxially with the internal channel (20a) thereof.
