Description
The present invention consists of a demountable barbecue oven, capable of cooking food as in an oven and, simultaneously on its four lateral faces: meats or poultry on a spit or on kebabs, vertically and keeping them warm. I1 saves time and fuel compared to conventional outdoor cooking appliances and prevents fats from spit-roasted meats from charring on the fire, thus eliminating a risk of carcinogenic reputation. This barbecue oven has the exterior appearance of a cube with removable fins, topped by a removable dome; this constitutes the oven itself. The entire structure is metallic; it can be made of stainless steel or 900 enamel, with cast iron plates, bars, and a fire grate for direct contact with the embers. The oven section consists of a double-walled vault (l-fig.l) held apart by fins formed from accordion-folded sheet metal (I-fig.l-8) to create air circulation between them and prevent external overheating This removable dome, equipped with carrying handles (l-fig.l-lO), rests on top of the square frame of the barbecue (l-fig.l-2 & 3-fig.3-2) and can be removed for simple use of the barbecue, for reducing the heating intensity, or for using the oven floor as a food warmer or sauce warmer. The plate or grid forming the oven floor or food warmer (8-fig.15) is fitted with two handles or edges (23) for its removal and transport flat; its dimensions are smaller than those of the upper metal frame of the barbecue (1-fig.1-2) so that the heat given off by the firebox can rise all around; this plate simply rests on 1 end of the bars of the firebox of the barbecue placed vertically. The front wall of the oven (l-fig.l-l9) may have a viewing window for monitoring the dishes in the oven during their cooking (l-fig.*-22bis) or place a graduated dip tube thermometer, for example from 0b to 300e, to control the internal temperature. The barbecue itself consists of a frame (3-fig.3-2) with an inner fold (3-fig.3-2) & (7-fig.11) pierced with round or triangular openings depending on the shape of the bars used (2-fig.2-9), a fold allowing the passage of the firebox divider (6-fig.10-11) & (3-fig.3-11). Four angle brackets (1-fig. 1-20) connect this frame to an identical externally facing frame upside down to let the bars pass and rest the grid on the hearth (8-fig.14 -2): this wax however carries those interior realizations to limit the running of these bars (8-fig.16-9 and 1). The internal cast iron partition, in the shape of an X (3-fig.3-ll) & (6-fig.10 -11) allows only one side or two or three sides of the barbecue to be loaded and used either for fuel saving or for reduced cooking needs; its base rests on the grill and it is placed along the diagonals. The mobility of the cast iron bars (2-fig.2-9) & (8-fig.16-9), whether round or triangular for aesthetic reasons, allows their number to be reduced and them to be spaced further apart, to increase the radiation of the fire according to the type of heating used and the thickness and type of meat to be cooked. A skewer is driven vertically into each corner of the upper frame through an identically reproduced opening in the lower frame to allow it to be driven down to the level of the ash pan (3-fig.3-13) & (2-fig.2-7); these four skewers hold vertically in each corner, flaps folded at right angles (2-fig.2-3) & (2-fig.2-4) which act as skewer holders for large meats or poultry (4) and as swing holders for kebabs (3) by means of deep lateral notches or small upper notches. To avoid overloading the sketches, these two types of notches have not always been represented simultaneously, but these four flaps can be identical and interchangeable or mixed, featuring one or the other series of notches (4-fig.4-4 & fig.5) (5-fig.6-3 & fig.7). Different flap shapes can be considered depending on the intended use. The various internal notches and the slope provided in the poultry door, the various notches provided in the swing door, allow the position of the meats to be changed in relation to the bars: bringing them closer, moving them further away, raising them, lowering them according to the degree and appearance of cooking desired. The skewer swings (6-fig.9) have a suspension skewer at their upper part (24) which allows them to be moved closer to or further from the bars of the hearth or to turn the swings over: skewers towards the outside to keep them warm once cooked; the swings have their rear wall folded towards the front, in the form of a grease reservoir to collect the cooking juices (6-fig.9-25). Regarding poultry and large meats cooked on large spits, their cooking juices can be collected directly in a dish placed against the base of the barbecue. In the case of mass-produced skewers purchased directly from a store, and whose size is not standard, a support plate, identical to one side of the skewer, will slide inside and adjust to the outside, depending on the size of the skewer (6-fig 5-36). To facilitate its use, the barbecue oven is usually placed on a stone table, a wall or a metal piece of furniture on wheels. Besides the usual charcoal, electricity can be used as a power source. In this case, four infrared heating elements can be arranged or fixed vertically in place of the bars; their connection, individual or collective control, and power supply via grounded cable can be arranged using the space in the ash drawer. A mini electric table model is also feasible: each guest has their own personal mini grill-barbecue to cook their own small kebabs or even small poultry or birds such as thrushes for example; the plate warming plate is used to place the different sauces to keep them warm. A removable plaque, pre-decorated with a zodiac sign or allowing for any other inscriptions, would thus personalize each guest with their sign, name, first name, status, for example, or any other inscription appropriate to the occasion. Apart from the cubic shape of the aforementioned example, other shapes and aspects can be achieved; for example: the parallelepiped shape by increasing the height of the barbecue or even cylindrical.
Claims
DEMANDS 1) Barbecue whose elements are removable, characterized in that it includes an oven consisting of a double-walled vault (1) removable and portable (handles 23), resting on a base (Fig.15) and a double frame (1) & 21) whose two parts are connected by angle brackets (20) and a railing (9), the lower frame constituting the base. 2) Demountable barbecue, according to claim 1, characterized in that the fins (8) keep the two walls of the vault apart, reducing overheating. 3) Barbecue according to claims I & 2, characterized in that support brackets (3) are attached to angle brackets (20) in order to suspend skewer swings (5) (6) by means of an axle (24). 4) Barbecue according to the preceding claims 1, 2 & 3 characterized in that the skewer swings (5) (6) adapt to different skewer lengths by means of a sliding support (26). 5) Barbecue according to the preceding claims 1,2,3 & 4, characterized in that other support brackets (4) attach to the angle brackets (20) in order to adapt a meat or poultry spit (support bracket shown in 4). 6) Barbecue according to the preceding claims 1,2,3,4 & 5, characterized in that the charcoal placed in the center can be divided into several individually usable fireboxes by a metal divider (11) while continuing to heat the floor of the upper oven.
