Description
The purpose of this addition is a device for creating decorative patterns on bakery products. The main patent describes a device consisting of a support with means for fixing side by side tools with blades intended to be inserted into the thickness of the dough before baking to form grooves corresponding to the decorative patterns to be made. This addition aims to modify the main patent design to make it less expensive to manufacture and easier to use. The device, according to this addition, is of the type comprising a support and a series of tools, each comprising a knife and means for fixing the tools side by side on the support, and is characterized in that the support consists of an elongated tubular body made of elastic material and having a longitudinal slot opening onto a cavity with a substantially circular cross-section, while the tools comprise a base, one face of which has a protruding knife and the other face a head with a circular cross-section, the diameter of which is slightly greater than the diameter of the cavity so that said head can engage in the cavity by means of an elastic deformation of the support. Preferably, the support and tools are made of plastic. In order to be able to produce long signs, the device includes an end-to-end joining element for two supports, this being made up of a split tubular element having an internal diameter slightly smaller than the external diameter of the supports so that the latter can be forced into said tubular element. It is also possible to consider applying food coloring to the free edge of the knives to give a more attractive appearance to the decorative pattern made on the baked product and, in order for the colored surface to be relatively large, the free edge of the knives is slightly blunt. The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to particular embodiments given by way of example only and shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of a device, according to the invention. Figure 2 shows a larger scale of an inverted tool. Figure 3 shows, also on a larger scale, a tool following a variant of the embodiment. The device shown in Figure 1 comprises a support 1 consisting of an elongated tubular body made of an elastic plastic material. The body has a slot 2 opening onto a cavity with a circular cross-section 3. The tools bear the reference 5 and consist of blocks of plastic material having a base 6 on one face of which a knife 7 protrudes, while on the other face the base is integral with a head 8 with a circular section whose diameter is slightly greater than the diameter of the cavity 3. The tools 5 s 1 are thus inserted by force side by side into the cavity 3 through the slot 2 to form a set of signs such as a name, a drawing or other. We can provide for a member 10 for the end-to-end assembly of two supports 1, la, this member being made up of a split tubular element having an internal diameter slightly smaller than the external diameter of the supports 1, la so that the latter are inserted by force into said tubular element. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments just described and illustrated. Numerous minor modifications can be made to them without departing from the scope of the invention.

DEMANDS 10- Device for making decorative patterns on bakery products and of the type comprising a support (1) and a series of tools (5) each having a knife (7) and means for fixing the tools (5) side by side on the support (1), according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that the support (1) is made up of an elongated tubular body made of elastic material and having a longitudinal slot (2) opening onto a cavity (3) with a substantially circular cross-section, while the tools (5) comprise a base (6) one face of which has a knife (7) protruding and the other face a head (8) with a circular cross-section whose diameter is slightly greater than the diameter of the cavity (3) so that said head can engage in the cavity by means of an elastic deformation of the support (5). 20- Device for making decorative patterns on bakery products, according to claim 1, characterized in that the support (1) and the tools are made of plastic material. 3 - Device for making decorative patterns on bakery products, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a butt joining member (10) of two supports (1, 1a), the latter being made up of a split tubular element having an internal diameter slightly smaller than the external diameter of the supports so that the latter can be forced into said tubular element (10). 4 - Device for making decorative patterns on bakery products, according to claim 1, characterized in that the free edge (11) of the knives (7) is slightly blunt.
