Abstract

The improvement concerns a sensory tasting room, or a series of rooms forming a tasting room that can be transformed into a communal table. It consists of side panels 1a and 1'a sliding within panels 1b and 1'b; and a front panel 6a carrying the opening 4 and the lighting beam 8 sliding within the front panel 6b. The rectangular or trapezoidal shape of the rooms allows, by juxtaposition, the creation of a communal table, either U-shaped or nearly circular. Lowering the panels 1a, 1'a, and 6a transforms the room into a communal table. An electric motor with a winding mechanism controls the raising and lowering of the upper parts of the room.

Description

The subject of the present invention is an improvement to main patent No. 88 14067 which describes a sensory cabinet intended for tasting. According to this main patent, the sensory analysis cabinet comprises two side panels and a bottom panel comprising an opening intended for refueling the taster, a work surface and a mobile lighting beam fitted with colored filters. Several sensory cabinets placed side by side thus form a linear array of sensory cabinets, each side panel being part of the two cabinets. This set then constitutes a sensory analysis laboratory. In practice, after tasting, it is common to organize a meeting to share the results. The sensory cabinets according to the main patent do not allow this pooling in the tasting room itself. The tasters meet in another room, either after each tasting or after a series of tastings. Part of the evaluation efficiency is thus lost. The present improvement to the main patent makes it possible to remedy this drawback. Its purpose is to transform the tasting room into a meeting room for immediate sharing of results. For this purpose, the sensory cabinets are easily transformed into a table. The fixed side panels of each sensory cabinet, as well as the bottom panel comprising the opening and the serving hatch part are stopped at the height of the worktop. They form in the lower part, a box intended to receive the haunted part of each of said panels which then becomes a moving part. The lighting beam secured to the moving parts of the bottom and one of the side panels is therefore raised on the rear part of the worktable. In this embodiment, each of the sensory cabinets retains its autonomy, the lighting beam being attached only to one side panel. Indeed, each side panel serves as a separation for two sensory cabinets. In a totally integrated embodiment, the whole assembly is integral and the lowering of the side bottom panels and the lighting beams is ensured by the general control of an electric motor actuating a reel. Depending on the desired layout of the pooling table, the sensory cabinets according to this improvement will be either juxtaposed cabinets, the bottom panel being perpendicular to the side panels, to obtain a linear table, or trapezoidal cabinets, the bottom panel constituting or being on the side of the small base of the trapezoid, to obtain a circular or semi-circular table. Figure 1 is a view of a sensory cabinet according to the present invention. Figure 2 is a top view of a U-shaped table obtained with sensory cabinets according to the present invention. Figure 3 is a top view of a semicircular table obtained with trapezoidal cabinets according to the present invention. In FIG. 1 representing a right sensory cabinet, the side panels v1) and (1') are formed of two parts la and 1b, a and 1'b distinct, the upper parts la- and a, sliding in parts lb and 1'8, when one wants to transform the cabinet into a pooling table. To this end, parts 1b and 1'b are much thicker and designed so as to leave an empty space between their walls so that parts 1a and 1a can slide there. An electric motor controls the raising or lowering of the parts la and i'a, it being understood that for a succession of "n" juxtaposed sensory cabinets, the side part la is integral with the bottom 6a, called to slide in the bottom 6b and the lighting beam 8 of the same cabinet. Part a will be attached to the back and the lighting beam of the next cabinet and so on until the last of the juxtaposed series for which the two side parts EMI2.1 left and right burners will be attached. In the cabinets intended to form a linear pooling table, the succession of juxtaposed sensory cabinets will be the arrangement retained. FIG. 2 thus presents three linear successions of cabinets arranged for two of them, face to face and for the other perpendicular to the first two. A U-shaped pooling table is thus easily obtained, a classic form of conference table. Figure 3 shows a succession of trapezoidal sensory cabinets which make it possible to obtain, by juxtaposition, a quasi-circular pooling table, a space being reserved for the passage of refueling.
