Description
The main patent 89 C2753 relates to a device on automotive seat belts, which prevents the engine from starting if one of them is not engaged. The device according to the invention prevents the vehicle from starting if one of the passengers has not fastened their seatbelt; therefore, if the driver is alone in the car, they must first fasten all three passenger seatbelts before starting the engine. The purpose of this addition is to eliminate this requirement by adding an extra switch connected in parallel to each passenger box, which aims to present the vehicle in its simplest form of use compared to the usual equipment in service. According to this system, if one or more passengers take their seats on board the vehicle, the indicator light on the dashboard comes on, signaling that a seatbelt is not fastened, hence the obligation to fasten it; if not, the engine does not start, therefore no one can evade it. The device illustrated by plates 1 / 3 to 3 / 3 includes three kBC contactors (1 front passenger seat and two at the rear) connected in parallel and sensitive to the weight of a seated person, connected to ground and to the box.
