Description

The main patent (No. 88 11785 of 9 Sept. 88) describes a sailing craft whose sail is a wing fixed to the top of a mast by a joint and which is held by means of a handle perpendicular to the wing, and the present addition describes variants of this craft whose hulls are specially equipped to increase speed. This equipment consists of wings or skis fixed under the hull(s) so that the craft, supported by these elements, sinks less into the water, the hulls being able, with speed, to no longer touch the water. According to one of the variants shown in figures 1 and 2, the hull (1) (or hulls) is equipped with one or more underwater wings (2) substantially parallel above the hull arranged under the latter transversely relative to the hull and connected to it by substantially vertical or oblique fins (3). The lift plane of these underwater wings is oriented slightly nose-up so that the horizontal movement of the hull in the water creates an upward lift force. According to another variant shown in figures 3 and 4, the hull (1) (or each hull, if there are several) is equipped with a ski (4) arranged under the hull longitudinally and connected to the hull (1) by substantially vertical fins (5) and / or ailerons (6). CLAIMS 1.
