Description

This addition relates to an improvement made to the invention described in Patent No. 89,16681. This patent relates to the invention of a footwear article cut from a single piece, the assembly being carried out using two assembly grooves, at least one of which ends with a hole. According to a particular embodiment, the object of this addition relates to a new method of assembling the footwear article cut from a single piece. The upper halves (2 and 3) have: one with two assembly grooves (l6 and l7), the other with an assembly slot (l8). The sum of the lengths of the assembly grooves (l6 and l7) is between 10 and 90% of the width of the upper half (-2 or -3) on which they are mounted. These lengths may be equal or unequal. The length of the assembly slot (l8) is between 10 and 90% of the value of the width of the half upper (20u3) in which it is made. The assembly slot (18) into which the assembly grooves (16 and 17) are inserted can be cut into various shapes. The assembly grooves (l6 and l7) and the assembly slot (18) are cut on their upper half (20u3) respectively in two zones (l9 and 20) of at least 16 centimeters each on either side of the median axis of the sole zone (l). Their cutting positions may vary. The attached drawing illustrates the addition. With reference to this drawing. The device comprises a sole area (l), two areas (2 and 3) representing the two upper halves. In one of the upper halves, an assembly slot (l8) is cut; in the other upper half, two assembly grooves (l6 and l7) are cut. The areas (l9 and 20), at least 16 centimeters each, are located on either side of the median axis of the sole area (l) in which the assembly slot (l8) and the Assembly grooves (l6 and l7) whose cutting positions may vary. - According to a particular manufacturing method. The assembly slot (l8) can be in the shape of "S", "Z", etc. The cutting width of the assembly slot (l8) as well as the assembly grooves (l6 and l7) is between 0 and 1.5 centimeters depending on the thickness of the finished product.

Claims

DEMANDS. 1) Assembly method for a footwear article cut from a single piece according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that each upper half (2 and 3) has one of two assembly grooves (16 and 17), the other an assembly slot (18). 2) Assembly method for a footwear article cut from a single piece according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that the sum of the lengths of the 2 assembly grooves (l6 and l7) is between 10 and 90% of the value of the half upper in which they are made. 3) Assembly method for a footwear article cut from a single piece according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that the length of the assembly slot (l8) is between 10 and 90% of the value of the width of the upper half in which it is made. 4) Assembly method for a one-piece cut footwear article according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that the assembly grooves (l6 and l7) and the assembly slot (l8) are made on their respective upper halves in two zones (l9 and l20) of at least 16 centimeters each on either side of the median axis of the sole zone (1). Their cutting positions may vary.
