Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a concrete composition based on stabilized wood aggregates. The main patent No. 88 08697, to which this certificate of addition is attached, concerns a concrete of a composition based on wood aggregates stabilized by silicification (according to patent FR 2,449,551). The purpose of this addition is to propose a new concrete composition, enabling the production of prefabricated elements using the compaction technique as defined by patent FR 89 08081, based on wood aggregates stabilized by silicification, other than that related to the main patent, allowing -firstly, to reduce the manufacturing time of prefabricated elements by reducing the usual curing times by a factor of between 5 and 1 -on the other hand, to increase the mechanical resistance of the products made by increasing their mechanical resistance in tension and compression from 1 to 2. The reduction in manufacturing time and the increased tensile and compressive strength of the products allow the use of this new composition in new fields such as the manufacture of safety barriers for roads and highways, as well as railway track supports. Indeed, thanks to the specific characteristics of the prefabricated elements, their use provides good deformability without sudden breakage, and excellent acoustic comfort for rolling on the rails and in the external environment (vibrations from nearby buildings). The said composition comprises - wood granules stabilized by silicification to which the following materials are added -specific binders made up of aluminous cements (also called fused cements); pozzolanic cements -treatment adjuvants consisting of sodium aluminate; latex resin; calcium chloride -short, medium or long fibrous reinforcements made up of fibers alkali-resistant glass; polypropylene; carbon; cast iron; bamboo In general, the proportion of different materials combined with stabilized wood granules can vary as indicated below. -specific binder between approximately 5 and 80%, preferably between 20 and 60% and particularly between 40 and 50% by weight, relative to the total composition -curing adjuvant between approximately 0.2 and 3.0%, preferably between approximately 0.5 and 2.0%, and particularly between approximately 0.5 and 1.0% by weight, relative to the weight of binder -Fibrous reinforcement: between approximately 3.0 and 20.0%, preferably between approximately 5.0 and 15.0%, and particularly between approximately 5.0 and 10.0% by weight, relative to the weight of binder
