Abstract

The invention describes a method for calibrating a plenoptic camera, comprising the following steps: S2: determination of a real image position (P_im_r) of a calibration object point (P_obj) acquired by the plenoptic camera; S4: definition of several input data sets (E) comprising projection parameters (Par_Proj) representative of a primary aberration and a higher-order aberration of the main optics (1), and position parameters (Par_Pos) of a modeling object point (P_mod); S6: calculation of a theoretical image position (P_im_th) of the modeling object point (P_mod) from a light ray tracing and a relative position of the optical element matrix (2) with respect to the sensor (3) (Pmat / Pcapt); etS7: Calculation of a calibration error δcal between the theoretical image position (P_im_th) and the actual image position (P_im_r).
