Abstract

The invention relates to an automatic water extinguisher (100) intended to be mounted on an opening (42) of a pipeline (40), said extinguisher (100) comprising: a base (24A) having a through hole (26), and a seal (28) intended to ensure the sealing of the connection between the opening (42) and the through hole (26). The base (24A) further comprises at least two anchoring points (25A), and the extinguisher (100) comprises at least one clamping collar (30) comprising: an elongate element (31) intended to partially surround the pipe (40), said elongate element (31) cooperating with the base (24A) at said anchoring points (25A), and means (32) for adjusting the length of the at least one clamping collar (30) so that the extinguisher (100) is capable of being mounted on pipes (40) of different diameters.
