RUBBER COMPOSITION COMPRISING A POLAR PLASTIFIER AND A HIGHLY SATURATED ELASTOMER

Abstract

The invention relates to a rubber composition based on at least 50 to 100 parts of at least one copolymer containing ethylene units and units of a 1,3-diene of formula CH2=CR-CH=CH2, the ethylene units in the copolymer representing between 50% and 95% by mole of the monomer units of the copolymer, the symbol R representing a hydrocarbon chain having 3 to 20 carbon atoms; 0 to 50 parts of at least one diene elastomer having a molar content of diene units greater than 50%; a liquid phosphate plasticizer having a glass transition temperature, denoted Tg, below -70°C; a reinforcing filler; and a crosslinking system, as well as to a rubber article comprising such a composition.
