Manufacturing process for a final aluminum alloy panel

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a final panel (1) made of aluminum alloy, comprising successively supplying a first thick sheet (3) and a second thick sheet (5) in a metallurgical state T3; a welding step (E30), in which the first thick sheet (3) and the second thick sheet (5) are welded by a friction stir welding technique to form a welded intermediate assembly (7); a deformation step (E40), in which the welded intermediate assembly (7) is deformed by an explosion forming technique to form a deformed intermediate assembly (9); and a tempering step (E60), enabling the final panel (1) to be obtained in a final metallurgical state.
