Abstract

Inflatable chest protector for practicing a sliding or water sport, garment comprising such an inflatable chest protector. The invention relates to an inflatable chest protector for practicing a sliding or water sport, comprising an inflatable envelope (12) and at least one fastening system for holding the inflatable envelope (12) against the user's torso. In addition, the inflatable envelope (12) comprises a contour (16), front and rear walls, at least one first peripheral connecting line linking the front and rear walls airtight around the entire contour (16), and at least one through-hole (52) connecting the front and rear faces of the front and rear walls, positioned near at least one of the upper and lower edges (24, 30) of the inflatable envelope (12). This arrangement prevents water or sand from accumulating between the inflatable envelope (12) and the user.The invention also relates to a garment comprising such an inflatable breastplate. Figure 2.
