Abstract

An automatic pet food dispenser (10) comprising: a cabinet having a food dispensing opening (16) and including at least two food retaining compartments (14a-b), a first pivoting shelf (20a) pivoting between a first position for blocking an opening in a first compartment (14a), the second position no longer blocking the opening of the first compartment, a second pivoting shelf (20b) pivoting between a first position for blocking an opening in a second compartment (14b), the second position no longer blocking the opening of the second compartment (14b), a first electrically actuated trigger mechanism (30a) on the first shelf (20a) releasably securing the first shelf (20a) in the first position, a second electrically actuated trigger mechanism (30b) on the second shelf (20b) releasably securing the second shelf (20b) in the first position,a first electric micro switch (26a) arranged under the first shelf (20a).,
