The invention relates to a method for mounting a sealing device of a motor, said motor comprising a stator, said stator comprising a plurality of coils of conductive wire having a projecting portion, said motor further comprising said sealing device having a mounting orifice (14) through which it fits said projecting portion, said method providing a tool for mounting said device comprising two bases (26) actuable between a nominal configuration and a mounting configuration where they move apart from each other, a fitting of said device on said bases, a placing of said bases in the mounting configuration, so as to widen said mounting orifice, a fitting of said projecting portion by said device.
