1. Mattifying cosmetic composition, in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, suitable for topical application to the skin, characterized in that it comprises, the percentages being expressed by weight relative to the total weight of the composition: - from 25 to 65% of water, - at least one extract of Lens esculenta seed, - at least one starch, - from 10 to 30% of oily emollient(s), - from 0 to 5% of aqueous emollient(s), - from 0 to 1% of gelling agent(s), - and at least one emulsifier, and in that it is free from silica.

2. Cosmetic composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one starch is of plant origin and is not modified.

10. Use according to claim 9, for mattifying the skin immediately after said application.

11. Use according to claim 9 or 10, wherein said skin is acne-prone.

12. A method of non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment of the skin of an individual, comprising applying a cosmetic composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8 topically to said skin.
