Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Vehicle door and corresponding vehicle
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle door, in particular a passenger transport vehicle, comprising:
[0002] - a frame defining an opening, the opening being delimited by a boundary su upper and a lower limit each extending in a longitudinal direction,
[0003] - a door threshold fixed to the frame and extending along the lower limit of the opening, the door threshold comprising a first guide member, and
[0004] - a door panel defining an upper edge and a lower edge opposite each other on the other according to an elevation direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
[0005] The upper edge of the door panel is suspended from the frame, the door panel being movable in translation relative to the frame in the longitudinal direction between an open position and a closed position.
[0006] The lower edge of the door panel comprises a second guide member cooperating with the first guide member of the door sill so as to guide the translation of the door panel between the open position and the closed position.
[0007] In passenger transport vehicles, it is known to install a sliding door providing access to an interior compartment, such as a technical room or a toilet cubicle.
[0008] Such sliding doors are generally suspended at their upper edge, for example by means of a roller carriage sliding in a rail fixed to an interior partition of the vehicle.
[0009] Generally, in order to ensure the guidance of the lower edge of the door on the door sill, it is known to install a rail or to define a groove in a visible manner on the door sill.
[0010] However, such guidance is not entirely satisfactory, since dirt is likely to accumulate inside the rail or groove, which can cause the sliding of the door to become blocked.
[0011] An object of the invention is to provide a sliding vehicle door in which the risk of sliding blockage is low. Another aim of the invention is to provide a sliding door having a simple structure.
[0012] To this end, the invention relates to the aforementioned door, characterized in that the first guide member has an L-shaped cross-section.
[0013] Thanks to the L-shape of the first guide member of the door sill, said first guide member is not visible, and in particular, is protected from dirt. There is therefore less risk of dirt accumulating and therefore of blocking the sliding of the door.
[0014] The door according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination:
[0015] - The second guide member has a U-shaped cross-section finishing a home.
[0016] - The first door sill guide member defines a first branch and a second branch substantially perpendicular to each other, the second branch being received in the housing of the second guide member of the door panel.
[0017] - The first branch extends substantially horizontally and the second branch extends from the first branch substantially vertically downwards.
[0018] - The second branch of the first door sill guide member is received in the housing of the second guide member of the door panel with a mechanical clearance in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and to the elevation direction of between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm and / or a mechanical clearance in the elevation direction of between 1 mm and 5 mm.
[0019] - The door includes a roller carriage fixed on one of the upper edge of the panel door and frame and a rail extending in the longitudinal direction and fixed on the other of the upper edge of the door panel and the frame, the roller carriage comprising at least one roller capable of rolling in the rail.
[0020] - The lower edge of the door panel comprises a first portion extending parallel to the longitudinal direction and a second portion inclined relative to the first portion, the second guide member extending only along the first portion.
[0021] - The first guide member is a plate folded and fixed on the door sill and / or the second guide member is a bent plate fixed to the lower edge of the door panel.
[0022] The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising at least one door as described above.
[0023] According to a particular embodiment, the opening defines an access opening to an interior compartment of the vehicle, in particular a toilet cubicle or a service room.
[0024] The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given solely by way of example, and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
[0025] - [Fig.l] [Fig.l] is a schematic view of a door according to the invention; and
[0026] - [Fig.2] [Fig.2] is a cross-sectional view along a plane P of the door of the [Fig.l].
[0027] [Fig.l] illustrates a door 10 of a vehicle, in particular a passenger transport vehicle. The vehicle is, for example, a metro, a tram or a train. Alternatively, the vehicle is a bus.
[0028] The door 10 is for example an access door to an interior compartment 11 of the vehicle, in particular a toilet cubicle or a service room.
[0029] The door 10 comprises a frame 12 defining an opening 14, a door sill 16 and a door panel 18.
[0030] In the case where the door 10 is an access door to an interior compartment 11, the frame 12 is formed by interior partitions of the vehicle, in particular a vertical partition 20 and a floor 22 of the vehicle. The opening 14 defined in the frame 12 corresponds to the access opening to the interior compartment 11 of the vehicle.
[0031] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the opening 14 is for example rectangular in shape.
[0032] More particularly, the opening 14 is delimited by an upper limit 24 and a lower limit 26 each extending in a longitudinal direction X and opposite one another in an elevation direction Z perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.
[0033] In particular, in the case where the door 10 is an access door to an interior compartment 11, the lower limit 26 of the opening 14 is for example defined by the floor 22.
[0034] The opening 14 is advantageously of large dimensions so as to allow access to the interior compartment 11. For example, the opening 14 has a length, corresponding to the distance between the upper limit 24 and the lower limit 26, of between 1.8 and 2.5 m. Furthermore, the opening 14 may have a width of between 0.5 and 2 m.
[0035] The door sill 16 is fixed to the frame 12 and comprises a first guide member 28.
[0036] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the door sill 16 extends along the lower limit 26 of the opening 14, for example in the longitudinal direction X.
[0037] More particularly, the door sill 16 is fixed to the floor 22 along the lower limit 26 of the opening 14.
[0038] The door sill 16 is for example intended to define a step for access to the interior compartment 11. For this purpose, the door sill 16 has for example a cross section in the shape of a rectangular trapezoid as illustrated in [Fig.2].
[0039] By cross section is meant the section of a cut along a transverse plane, that is to say a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.
[0040] As illustrated in [Fig.2], the first guide member 28 has an L-shaped cross-section.
[0041] In other words, the first guide member 28 of the door sill 16 defines a first branch 30 and a second branch 32 substantially perpendicular to each other.
[0042] Preferably, the first branch 30 extends substantially horizontally, and more particularly extends in a transverse direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X and to the elevation direction Z.
[0043] The second branch 32 extends from the first branch 30 advantageously substantially vertically downwards.
[0044] In other words, the second branch 32 extends in the elevation direction Z between a first end 34 linked to the first branch 30 and a second free end 36, the second end 36 being closer to the floor 22 than the first end 34.
[0045] The first guide member 28 is for example a folded plate fixed on the door sill 16. The plate is for example metallic and is nailed, screwed, riveted or glued on the door sill 16.
[0046] More particularly, as illustrated in [Fig.2], the first branch 30 of the first guide member 28 is fixed to the door sill 16.
[0047] The door panel 18 is movable in translation relative to the frame 12 in the longitudinal direction X between an open position and a closed position.
[0048] In the open position, the door panel 18 is spaced from the opening 14, so as to allow access to the interior compartment 11, and extends for example opposite the vertical partition 20.
[0049] In the closed position, the door panel 18 completely covers the opening 14, so as to prevent any access to the interior compartment 11.
[0050] Preferably, the door panel 18 comprises a handle 38 facilitating the passage of the door panel 18 from one position to another by a passenger.
[0051] The door panel 18 defines an upper edge 40 and a lower edge 42 opposite each other in the elevation direction Z.
[0052] In particular, when the door panel 18 is in the closed position, the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18 extends entirely opposite the upper limit 24 of the opening 14 and the lower edge 42 extends entirely opposite the lower limit 26 of the opening 14.
[0053] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18 is suspended from the frame 12, and in particular near the upper limit 24 of the opening 14.
[0054] In particular, the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18 is fixed to the frame 12 so as to be movable in translation in the longitudinal direction X between the open and closed position.
[0055] For this purpose, the door 10 comprises in this case a roller carriage 43 fixed on one of the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18 and of the frame 12 and a rail 44 extending in the longitudinal direction X and fixed on the other of the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18 and of the frame 12.
[0056] In the particular embodiment of the invention illustrated in [Fig.l], the rail 44 is fixed to the frame 12 along the upper limit 24 of the opening 14. The roller carriage 43 is fixed to the upper edge 40 of the door panel 18.
[0057] More particularly, the roller carriage 43 comprises at least one roller 46, and preferably a plurality of rollers 46, capable of rolling in or on the rail 44. Such a roller carriage 43 thus ensures the function of supporting and sliding the door panel 18 relative to the frame 12.
[0058] In a particular embodiment of the invention (not shown), the wheeled trolley 43 comprises at least one pair of wheels consisting of an upper wheel and a lower wheel aligned in the elevation direction Z. Each of the pairs of wheels extends around the rail 44. More particularly, the upper wheel is able to roll on an upper face of the rail 44 and the lower wheel is able to roll on a lower face of the rail 44.
[0059] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18 comprises a first portion 48 extending parallel to the longitudinal direction X and a second portion 50 inclined relative to the first portion 48.
[0060] The second portion 50 defines for example an obtuse angle between 150° and 180° (exclusive) with the first portion 48.
[0061] Preferably, the length of the second portion 50 represents less than 50% of the length of the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18. In other words, the second portion 50 is smaller than the first portion 48.
[0062] The second portion 50 of the door panel 18 advantageously has a complementary shape with an inclined portion 52 of the floor 22, so as to extend opposite said inclined portion 52 when the door panel 18 is in the open position. The inclined portion 52 of the floor 22 defines for example a ramp for changing levels of the floor 22.
[0063] Alternatively, the door 10 is substantially rectangular and the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18 comprises a single portion 48 extending parallel to the longitudinal direction X.
[0064] The lower edge 42 of the door panel 18 comprises a second guide member 54 cooperating with the first guide member 28 of the door sill 16, as can be seen in [Fig.2].
[0065] Such cooperation of the first guide member 28 and the second guide member 54 makes it possible to guide the translation of the door panel 18, and in particular of its lower edge 42, between the open position and the closed position.
[0066] Preferably, the second guide member 54 has a U-shaped cross-section defining a housing 56.
[0067] In particular, as illustrated in [Fig. 2], the second branch 32 of the first guide member 28 is received in the housing 56 of the second guide member 54 of the door panel 18.
[0068] Preferably, the second branch 32 of the first guide member 28 of the door sill 16 is received in the housing 56 of the second guide member 54 of the door panel 18 with a mechanical clearance in the transverse direction Y of between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm and a mechanical clearance in the elevation direction Z of between 1 mm and 5 mm. Such mechanical clearance makes it possible to avoid blocking the translation, while ensuring a satisfactory guiding function of the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18. Furthermore, such mechanical clearance facilitates the mounting of the second branch 32 of the first guide member 28 of the door sill 16 in the housing 56.
[0069] In the particular embodiment of the invention in which the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18 comprises a first portion 48 and a second inclined portion 50, the second guide member 54 extends only along the first portion 48.
[0070] The second guide member 54 is for example a profile extruded in the longitudinal direction X then machined. The profile is for example made of aluminum.
[0071] Alternatively, the second guide member 54 is for example a folded plate fixed on the lower edge 42 of the door panel 18. The plate is for example metallic and is nailed or glued to the door panel 18.
[0072] The door 10 according to the invention has the advantage of presenting a limited risk of blocking the sliding.
[0073] Indeed, thanks to the L-shape of the first guide member 28 of the door sill 16, said first guide member 28 is not visible, and in particular, is protected from dirt. There is therefore less risk of dirt accumulating and therefore of blocking the sliding of the door.
[0074] Furthermore, the absence of a visible groove or rail makes it easier to clean the door sill 16.
[0075] Furthermore, the cooperation between the first guide member 28 and the second guide member 54 also makes it possible to slide a non-rectangular door 10, as illustrated in [Fig.l].
