Abstract

The cleaning system comprises a vacuum cleaner (2) comprising a waste collection container (12), a front drain hatch (16) configured to close a front drain opening (17) of the waste collection container (12) and a biasing member (18) configured to bias the front drain hatch (16) towards a closed position; and a docking station (3) comprising a receiving housing (26) configured to house the waste collection container (12) and a stop member (31) located in the receiving housing (26). The vacuum cleaner (2) comprises an actuating member (21) integral in movement with the front drain hatch (16) and configured to abut against the stop member (31) and to move the front drain hatch (16) into a release position when the waste collection container (12) is inserted into the receiving housing (26).
